Unfortunately my newer Apple connectors all require the use of a USB “c” port. I purchased these adapters in order to avoid the inconvenience of having to utilize a plug in adapter while on the go. I’ve not measured the expected drop off in charging efficiency, but am happy to simply maintain battery reserve and avoid the often ill timed low power alert. I will continue to utilize USB “c” adapters once at my destinations, but while in transit, feel the name “Essentials” perfectly defines this simple to use product.
