USB cable would not slide into this adapter without using extreme force. I was afraid I would damage the USB cable. First time I ever had this experience with any USB connector. On a positive note the USB-C connector worked fine.

Beware - missing item and no accountability

Since I’m now outside the US, I contacted customer service, but they refused to help unless I return it in person to the store I picked it up from. Even though it was clearly a packaging error, their rigid policy means I lose money for their mistake. Terrible customer service and extremely disappointed with the lack of accountability.
