It work okay for a short while but it seems to be getting worse with time. Of course this starts happening after Best Buy’s crappy return policy is over. The mouse is by far the worst mouse I have ever used. I mean EVER. The tracking is bad and the delay moving the cursor is horrible. Sometimes it just sits there and I need to power cycle the mouse. DO NOT BUY!! You are definitely getting what you pay for. The purchase was a big waste of $20. Best Buy Essentials is the worse brand.

Spend a little more for a combo with a lower latency wireless connection. The delay between your keystrokes and mouse movement is so significant that it’s distracting and reduces productivity as you’re waiting for things to update on the screen.

I bought it because it was cheap but now I am having to buy another one that actually works. And in the meantime using my backup wired keyboard, which works great but takes up one of my few USB ports. Plus I am still using the wireless mouse.

Keys sticking almost immediately and then needing multiple presses after just a few weeks is definitely not what you'd expect. We totally get your disappointment, especially since you bought it for the price and now have to buy another one. It's a bummer that your backup wired keyboard is taking up a USB port too.
