Clip is also very tight so you might need something to help pry it open to push it into your car vent. That’s what I ended up having to do

The thing that holds the mount is very difficult to open, I used my car key to pry it open and slipped it through the vent. It stays in place but heavier phones will cause it to move from side to side. You will have to keep adjusting it.

The magnet is also strong enough to hold my 13 Pro Max without falling… even over bumps.

Not worth it

The first one broke after a week, second lasted 2 days. Upgrade and just get the more expensive one this time. It isn’t worth it. (I thought the first one was a fluke). I don’t have a heavy case at all, just the plain MagSafe clear one, no reason for this issue.
