Altho it does not state certain samsung filter code modules this was the exact replacement for Samsung's DA97-08006C water filter. I'll definitely buy this again once mine is due.

I applied a thin film of silicone grease to the o-ring seals and it fit in with no struggle. Of course I had no way to test the filtration effectiveness.

An easy fix!!

So, I used it every day, a lot. But, the cost of the original replacement its great and started to cost me a lot because I had to replace it even less than 6 months every time. This essential replacement cost less and taste the same. There are no residue and last even longer. An no brainier.
