I say "unknown" due to the difference in taste from drinking straight from your kitchen Fawcett. I compared it also with the one that came with my refrigerator. There isn't a noticeable difference in taste between the factory one and the Best Buy brand.

Why pay $50 when you can get the same form/fit/function for half the price? Replacing the water filter is easy; same procedure as you would for the Samsung filter.

The taste of the water is perfect, and the water is so clean and Clair that I want to drink more and more.

They are more affordable than the name brand. I will continue to use them. They came in a two pack when I first bought my fridge, I wish they'd offer that option again.

It's a water filter at half the price of the Samsung unit. Water seems to be fine in terms of taste but I am not smart enough to know if it does the same job of filtration as the OEM. We have very high quality city water so I am not especially concerned.

My daughter bought one online and the water tasted terrible. Best Buy was out of the original and had the other one. So I took it and saved $20 and the water tastes great
