In my case though, the spacers required forced the TV further from the wall than expected. There were no adjustments that could be made to get closer to the wall acording to the Geek Squad dudes.

My TV wall mount swivels and extends into the room (in my case - out over the mantel) with this sound bar mount the sound bar now moves with the TV. Win, win!
