My internet has been going down every day around 9am so I wanted to check if this was my router's problem or cable modem's problem. Since non of my laptops have ethernet plug, I bought this adapter. It worked just by plugging it to my cable modem in seconds! I did not have to install any software or modify any settings! FYI, I have Windows 11 Home.

This adapter does the trick for my laptop that does not have an ethernet port. As far as I can tell, it works as well as my older laptop did with an ethernet port.
