I went in to see a product advertised at a certain price only to be told it was out of stock. I prefer to buy local rather than purchase anything on Amazon, but in the end it felt like a bait and switch.

Great Package Deal, TV & Sound System

The sales person recommended getting the $46 return option, BB-Plus, which allowed us to get an additional $500 when the TV had an additional short term special. We didn't intend on buying the best Samsung TV and sound system but are very glad we did.

Recommend! Especially for photographers and video

I started off on a best buy member plus and then upgraded to total as it included a two year warranty for the camera material I was buying. If you plan to buy a warranty for an item anyway, i’d recommend buying total as it’ll cover future items too for the price you’d pay for one. Solid deal

Occasional excellence.

Online scheduling of appointments with a store that is 2 1/2 hrs away or talking to someone in customer service on the phone that English isn’t theirs first language is taxing. Although eventually the phone representative did get me an appointment that hadn’t been accepted online. Nothing indicated I was to get a confirmation that my appointment was scheduled and I would receive written confirmation. Not being able to contact the store directly is not reassuring when needing information germane to the location. The in-store representative, though by himself, did go out of his way to get me in and out as quickly as possible(he was already involved with another customer and my appointment was 10 min past being waited on)as I only needed to drop something off for a known repair reason, not some technical issue. Having what appears to be apparent offshore customer service base is really frustrating especially with communication. Not even sure my membership will be able to be used in this case.

Horrible experience, we were lied all the time

I got a membership (and a Best Buy credit card) to get a discount on a Dacor refrigerator. While the discount was substantial, the refrigerator was never delivered. Three days before the scheduled delivery date, Best Buy called and told me the delivery window would be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. that day, but most likely in the morning. They also said I would receive an email from the delivery crew with more details one day before the delivery. One day before the delivery, I kept checking my email, but nothing came. Then, on the actual delivery day, I discovered an email that had been sent two days earlier. It said I had a scheduled delivery appointment — but also said the appointment was not scheduled and that I needed to schedule it. Yes, two completely contradictory statements in the same email! The email included a link to schedule the appointment. I clicked it and found the earliest available date was three weeks out. No mention of a canceled delivery — nothing. I went to Best Buy, and the associates politely explained that this is a custom-built refrigerator and Dacor had not yet manufactured it. I was told I had to reschedule the delivery in three weeks. Fine — I did that and waited again. About a week before the new delivery date, I got a call saying they could deliver it four days earlier. Unfortunately, I was out of town and asked to keep the original appointment. Three days before the appointment, I got another call from Best Buy confirming the same 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. window, most likely in the morning, and that I’d get another email from the delivery crew one day prior. This time, the email did arrive — but it was the same confusing message as before: it confirmed the appointment and simultaneously said the appointment wasn’t scheduled and needed to be scheduled. The link in the email once again only allowed me to reschedule the delivery for three weeks later. I drove to Best Buy again. They told me, once more, that the refrigerator hadn’t been made by Dacor, and there was nothing Best Buy could do. While I was still driving, I received another email stating that the refrigerator was out of stock and would not be delivered that day. At that point, I canceled the order, canceled the membership, and I won’t be returning to Best Buy for a very long time — if ever. I have to say, that we needed the new refrigerator because the old one died, so all that time we had to live without a refirerator.

I bought a new multifunction toaster oven and it was delivered in under 2 days! - I have not had the opportunity to use other perks at this time.

Do Not Buy BestBuyPlus - Deal Prices Not Real!

The driving decision for me was a promotion they had this summer which included a "buy 2, get 1 free" deal on Nintendo Switch games. Including games that were not yet released that would be pre-ordered. Excited about the offer, I carefully selected three games, ensuring that the promotion would apply correctly at checkout. Received a confirmation email with the correct billing breakdown. Unfortunately, what followed was a frustrating experience that left me deeply dissatisfied and upset. When the games were released & shipped, I was charged for all three games instead of receiving the promised deduction for the free item. This glaring discrepancy between the advertised promotion and the actual billing process was incredibly disappointing & unacceptable. It not only wasted my time but also misled me into believing I would benefit from a deal that was not honored. I did not authorize my card to be charged for 3 games. Attempting to rectify the situation, I contacted Best Buy's customer service. The resolution process was drawn-out and inefficient. I found myself waiting on hold for extended periods, only to be met with unhelpful responses and an overall lack of accountability for the error. The failure to honor the promotion as advertised, coupled with the subsequent inconvenience of resolving the issue through customer service, reflects poorly on Best Buy's commitment to customer satisfaction. Such misleading marketing tactics and inadequate customer support are unacceptable for a company of Best Buy's stature. As a consumer, I expected having this membership would be beneficial and provide perks, however that wasn't the case. This experience has significantly diminished my confidence in Best Buy's promotions and their ability to provide reliable customer service. I sincerely hope that Best Buy addresses these issues promptly, ensuring that future promotions are accurately represented and that customers are not misled or inconvenienced as I was. Do not be persuaded by the "exclusive deals." They are not honored and there's no real benefit to gain by purchasing this membership. I now spent $49.99 on an annual membership that offered a buy 2 get 1 game free promotion, thinking that the membership essentially pays for itself with the game being free only to be charged a membership and 3 switch games at $59.99 each.

Nice perks for the price

I don't buy a whole lot of stuff throughout the year but around the holidays it's great. I'd recommend it if you plan on buying a decent amount of stuff from BestBuy, but if all you do is buy one TV throughout the year, it's probably not worth it. The constant deals are really nice too.

Perfect for frequent shopper

The 60 day return policy along with longer time to price match itself is enough to make up for the cost. Then you have exclusive offers that sometimes are pretty good. Overall for $50 I can’t complain the membership saved me quite a bit of money.
