I recently purchased an iPad Pro and, at the suggestion of the Sales Associate, added a My Best Buy Plus membership. The cost of the membership was immediately offset by an equivalent savings on the iPad. A few weeks later, I received a similar savings on the purchase of a MacBook Air. The My Best Buy Plus membership has proven to be a worthwhile investment in a short period of time.

I guess this isn't going to be quite as relevant considering Best Buy is frustratingly going to stop selling physical media, however the $7.00 savings I have actually matched the price of the movie on Amazon - and that's honestly one of the biggest issues I have with this membership. Earlier this year, Best Buy increased the price of their 4K releases and Steelbooks by a minimum of $5.00, sometimes more, thinking people would just buy it there anyway instead of using Amazon to get it for the old price. If I'm paying an annual membership price and being offered special pricing, I would expect common items like movies to already be price-matched and not have to force me to get a hold of customer service for a refund. I think the Switch game deal looks pretty good, but I do not have a reason to use it. I don't care for the Nintendo Switch as it wasn't even a modern console when it came out, let alone in 2023. It's also nice having a 60-day return window, which is probably the only thing of value that I may have a use. I just haven't had a need for it. Maybe offering like a 10-15% discount on warranties may offer better value for me, as right now there has not been any tangible benefit that I have received/used that would really make me want to purchase this again next year. If you raise the price like you mistakenly did on movies, I'm definitely not going to buy it again.

I purchased a high end laptop, it worked great for what I needed, but my needs changed a few weeks later. I needed more power and less mobility. I was able to perform my exchange due to the policy without any issues! My confidence I Best Buy’s willingness to facilitate supporting my needs keeps me coming back.

My membership has been great the turn around on rewards fantastic! I've successfully used them on three purchases so far. Can't beat the support in store either. The return policy can't be beat, altough I haven't had to use it is comforting to know it is there should I need it.

Again, I haven’t had much opportunity to use it as I don’t live near a Best Buy store and not everything is able to be shipped to where I live.

The membership is of minimal value unless you do a lot of shopping at Best Buy, something I do not. I got the membership for free, basically, because an item I was buying would be discounted if I had a Best Buy membership. The discount was the same as the membership price.

I bought an appliance for my daughter in law and it needed service. She checked with the manufacturer and had to show proof of purchase. I went in my Best Buy app and it took me less than a minute to find the needed information. I loveBest Buy
