While I understand every business has (or will), adopted this idea of charging customers for a “special membership,” it really is not what I thought. I have spent a ton of money at Best Buy, I love shopping at their store, but this membership feels like a joke. You pay $49.99/year for these member benefits, but are they a benefit? We get 2-Day shipping, but when I want something fast, my Amazon has some same day, next day, and two-day options. Then we get “Member pricing and discounts.” Where? The discounts are on most items are a slap in the face to loyal customers. I get notifications and emails about deals but when I view them, I get upset I wasted my time. Look, I understand in today’s economy, a saving is a saving, but you would think paying for a membership would give you better deals and coupons. A perfect example of these “deals,” is their Dyson V8 Cordless Vac. It is on sale from $470 to $383. If you’re a total member or total plus member, (PLEASE SIT DOWN BEFORE READING HOW MUCH YOU SAVE), being a valued and now paying member you get to save an additional, whopping $3!!! If this review allowed emojis, I’d insert a few. The Membership offers “Early access to hard to find products.” I have not used this feature. Lastly, you get an extended 60-day return window on most products. I guess this is a benefit if you purchase an item that you later aren’t feeling. Sadly, this membership is very basic. Worth $50/year? Not in my opinion. I feel like this should be automatically included for any rewards member. Then maybe have the total plus membership as an upgrade option but less than $179/year. Maybe my thoughts will change in the next couple of months? Maybe they will send out better deals and savings, but at this time, I’m not impressed with this membership and will probably cancel before the 1-year auto renewal.

Technology and gadgets are my thing. With that said, im usually reluctant to pay extra for memberships, but in this case its worth it. In just two small purchases ive saved more than the price of the membership. Today I am waiting for my special members only purchase to arrive ( saved another 70 percent )...totally worth it.

with this membership i am able to sift through the store just looking and observing many things of interest that catches the eye and of possible purchasing with the store card in hand

I purchased the membership when I bought my new iPad. I saved money instantly, enough to cover the cost plus a little more. Have saved more on purchases since. It’s been pretty cool and I highly recommend the perks of having one. Even get special offers on items for sooo cheap that nobody else gets. Everyone should get this!

Like the subscription thing. Makes it more flexible to return and test out stuff you want to buy

I have been a customer for many years abd never disappointed.

The Citibank does not have good rating with me. They charged me $2.00 late/service charges. I tried paying the bill and paid what the store said I owed but Citibank added charges. If I would use my card I would pay it off. After I paid my bill I received a rewards of $5.00

So far this membership has been very helpful. Very nice value for sure!

This membership is a great value and well needed.

I recently signed up for Best Buy's Plus Membership program, and so far I've been really pleased with the benefits. The free shipping alone has saved me quite a bit of money, and the extended return window is also a nice perk. I also like that I get early access to certain sales and exclusive member-only deals. The membership fee is definitely worth it if you shop at Best Buy frequently and want to save some money in the long run. Overall, I'm happy with my decision to join the program.

I didn’t even know BestBuy had a membership program until I purchased my iPad. I don’t typically say yes to those kind of things, but it really did end up saving me money in the long run. I received a $50 gift card with my purchase, and if I see the price of my iPad drop within 60 days I can return it and I will receive one at the new, lower price. There are always exclusive member deals going on as well. If you purchase a lot of technology, this would probably be a really great thing for you to be a part of.

The membership is really good value.we use it all the time and better prices with membership.
