This membership has been great! it is not that expensive for the savings that I have made. I am a college student and I feel that thus has really ben helpful in my spending and saving money! Have not really noticed any benefit for "special pricing" as all prices reflect what other competitors are selling for. Guess the best benefit is free 2-day shipping and a 60-day return window.

I saved money by getting this membership when I bought $5K of major appliances. That said, the delivery and customer service have been universally terrible. I've had deliveries canceled or delayed on every single one of the 7 items I have bought since November, including a chair, a laptop, washer, dryer, range, and dishwasher. Every time a delivery was canceled, I went to the back of the line to await my next turn. I lost hundreds of dollars taking time off work for no reason. I spent hours on the phone trying to get things straightened out. It was a nightmare.

The Best Buy plus membership offers extra peace of mind with the extra time for returns to 60 days. Sometimes when you buy a product you are not sure if it will be the right one for more than just a 30-day period.

Most reviews I've read about this model mention its quiet. Its actually noisier than the big old unit my dad had when I was growing up and I'm 65.
