This membership is worth having on savings and the extended return policy.

So far my experience has far exceeded my expectations. The assistance from the geek squad has been AMAZING and managing my purchases have been so easy. Wow. Well done, Best Buy! I never thought I would be one of those people who would say, "Get the Membership!" But if you're investing in electronics, you absolutely should.

Sales rep kindly explained the value of this membership. Since it extends window for returns and to receive refunds for price reductions, it is a good buy.

First of all let me say that Best Buy is Number 1 on my List for everything....it's my go to! I love all the perks with the Membership The price for the membership is actually worth it I had to give it a 5 Star I'm so pleased with it!

I bought the membership because the salesperson told me I could apply PriceMatch to my $2,000 laptop if the price dropped within the next 60 days. The laptop's price did drop, and when I requested PriceMatch, they told me it wouldn't apply because it came as a bundle with some software trials. I wasn't interested in any software trial nor install anything, and besides, you can get software trials for free anyway. I think they include these "free" trials to make it seem like it's some kind of bundle and then not apply PriceMatch. The salesperson should have known that PriceMatch wouldn't apply in this case but insisted I buy the membership because of the PriceMatch possibility. It seems like a scam to include trials with such an expensive laptop and then say it's a bundle just not to apply the offered PriceMatch.

I made an appointment with a specific individual 4 days prior to the appointment with Geek squad. At the appointed time, another individual showed up, which didn't know anything about addressing my problem. She was unable to help us at all. I was very displeased with the service I recieved.

I got this membership to mainly buy gift cards for Xbox PlayStation and the Nintendo digital stores. If you purchase any of these cards on a somewhat regular basis it really will save you a good amount of money.

The membership is nice to have however when I cancelled my most recent order within 24 hrs it took 6 days to return my Best Buy certificates. As a result I purchased the item I wanted else where because I couldn’t use my points. Why be a member , have the credit card and still get no help with simple points returned faster to use?
