The membership only seems helpful if you like to shop best buy or if you have a business and need their help with the tech repairs. Unfortunately, for the average user, I don't think the membership is any help. Unless you find a few products that have the membership special sales. But I found even the membership discounts are still comparable to other online options. However, the extra return policy with the membership is very nice and would be great for people that like to tinker or are unsure if the product they bought they will want to keep.

The membership works well if you are a regular at Best Buy. For 1 shop or 2 during a whole year it really isn’t necessary to be a member as you get some really good buys if you check on items during the year, that you need.

Not sure if my previous review went through. When I bought this membership I was assured by the sales rep and the manager that it covered setting up mynew phone. I asked a few times if they were sure because it wasn' listed in the promotion for this membership.when I took it to the Pittsford store, the person who was helping me said the membership didn't cover the set up of my new phone. I explained to him what I had been told at the other store and he was really nice about going ahead and setting up my phone for me.

You can easily make your money back, but price matching can be difficult to obtain. There has been a lot of caveats they say are no problem to get you to sign up, but then are difficult for them to honor afterwards.

Membership is a real value. It helps me have peace of mind with the Greek Squad. It is a WIN WIN.

Staff was very patient with .y numerous times i had called in for help with .y laptop and printer sca ning for hackerproofing. They found the issues and corrected them all... over several times remotely and in the store. Luckily i used my protection plan..well worth the cost. Kudos! Laura FOREVER best buyer! Sorry for typos

Right off the bat, it saved me hundreds of dollars off a Dyson product. For the price it was worth it for the Dyson purchase alone, but now I get to use it for the remainder of the year. I don’t shop BestBuy frequently so my plan is to cancel it before its first renewal. Hopefully I find some good offers before then. So far nothing but maybe the holidays will have some good deals.

Purchased the Best Buy Plus membership and used it. My tv I bought went down in price 300$ in the 30 days since I bought it and they gave me 300 back off another tv. Yeah!

I’m a frequent customer so the membership is a no brainer.

This membership was explained and offered by Nick at the Knoxville, TN store. Well worth my money because it allowed me to buy the TV and have Best Buy deliver it a few weeks later when the in-house renovations were done. Plus, in those weeks that Best Buy held the TV, I was eligible for price matching if I found it elsewhere for less, which I did!

/the membership is a great value. I also like knowing we have the Geek squad there to help if we have questions or problems.
