Best Buy Plus membership is a solid one for frequent shoppers. Totally worth it - free 2 day shipping, extended 60 day return window and exclusive member deals in my first few purchases! I'm a tech enthusiast but generally for anyone this is a good option between no membership and the more expensive Total plan. I scored great discounts and benefits signing up, thinking I should have signed up years back to get rewards on all my tech purchase.

Bought a computer in April and the sales associate said that he could see us getting a $400 refund coming up. That we would get an email and then we just have to call the store. We never got an email but I did check and found the computer was on sale by $300. I just called the store and they issued me the refund. For the price of the membership and the refund it is something I would sign up for again. I just wish I would have gotten the email and that I could get a different payment method (best buy credit card). If I would have already paid off the card I'm not sure how they would have refunded the money because they do the credit the original payment used.

There are some good benefits with membership, but i ordered the free 6 months rtings membership available with the plus membership and turned out it expired 2 weeks before. It is still on there as a current offer with membership and it is now over a month expired. Check expiration date on free offers before wasting your time.

Usually when you buy something at Best Buy, you get only 14 days to evaluate if you really like the product or repair/replace with them in the unusual event the product is defective. Them you're stuck with dealing directly with the manufacturer. I became a member and when my purchase of an e-scooter that turned out to be defective after the 14-day window, BB tool the thing back with no questions asked for a FULL refund!! Very happy!

Have not used the membership benefit yet. Only drawback is that my credit appication was turned down. Still had the cash when I walked into the store for a desktop purchase.

Many services today dont even offer 30 day return windows let alone 60. You no longer need to sit and worry about a return deadline when testing to make sure something works for your setup and is to the quality the marketing led you to believe. You can take your time and make sure every single purchase was the right one. Every other perk? The shipping cost reduction, better deals, rewards points? Turn this into a no brainer situation for anyone who finds themselves in need of anything tech

I was told what I needed to get by Geek Squad. Instead of confirming they do didn't have that part in any of their stores he handled me a powered serial port that he said should take care of my needs. It did not. He said I could return the part if it didn't work, and when I did see him to let him know, he got very indifferent and stuffy about the whole issue. Thanks for nothing and two wasted trips from Guthrie to that store location (Quail Springs).

This yearly membership as well worth it because I got $50 off my first purchase, which was the cost of the early membership and then all of the other benefits as well!

It’s a great buy especially if you’re not 100% certain the item will fit your needs. The 60 no risk return period alone is worth the piece of mind on a large purchase.

Pretty good so far. I haven't received any crazy low offers yet, but the extended return window has helped, as a couple items dropped after I purchased them and I was able to get the difference in cost back easily. Would recommend if you purchase a lot of electronics.
