The occasional sales prices are ok The reward certificate bonuses are nice when available on something you plan to buy regardless. (This is not an incentive to buy something you wont use just because of the bonus. I would not do that).

What we did not like was that we had to spend the entire amount of our reward at one time or it was not valid. We only wanted a toaster at the time, so we had to purchase other smaller items that we didn't need in order to use the reward. We live an hour away from any Best Buy Store and cannot take advantage of other sales or offers.

However, since some of the individual savings only amount to a dollar or two, I haven't decided if I will renew the membership when it is due. It is probably worth the membership price for those who regularly purchase from BestBuy.

I am hoping to make better use of it in the future, right now the budget is too tight. This makes my shopping experience a lot better by not having to pay shipping. The sales they are having are good. I just am not shopping for anything at present time. But I have another nine or so months of the membership. Looking forward to using it more.

Besides the initial purchase savings from signing up for it, I can't honestly say I've found a use case for it.
