The value of the membership is worth the approximately $50 and you get more than that in rewards back if you spend enough.

I have definitely enjoyed the membership so far. I like getting notifications about drops on products early. The customer service is good. The only thing that I have noticed with it that I don’t believe is true and the reason I got the membership, is that you jump to the front of the line when you are a member. I was told that you get that perk with the membership from the customer service agent I talked to.

It is very beneficial that products purchased have the warranty bolstered as a member. I am more confident with my purchases knowing that I can seek help when it is needed.

This year I’ve enjoyed the My Best Buy plus membership. I did enjoy the free shipping, and the occasional members discounts that interested me; however, more then once these same items became on sale one or two weeks after the members exclusive sale which can be price matched, and I have done so more then once. One of the greatest benefit is the extended return window, but that also has its issues. If you are past the “normal” window the app will not let you begin the return you have to go in the store at which point they can and will help you. The only time that I need this feature the staff acknowledged how it could be misleading using the app, as it does not differentiate members and non members for returns.

Bought a HP Slim Desktop on 12/14/25. Was not told it was a "refurbished" unit. When asked about getting a bigger hard drive, the salesman went up front and got one. He was polite and efficient, but evidently he sold us the wrong drive. He brought up a SATA instead of SSD M.2. I had to research and order my SSD M.2 online and purchase another drive.

Thanks for the membership. I needed it today to have one of the Geek Squad check out my recently purchased laptop. It was so helpful to discuss some of the features and perhaps some of the possible issues with the laptop.
