Based on the promo and point features, this paid for itself after 2 - 3 visits of buying $50+ items. Recommended even if you don’t frequent The Buy as often.

Mystery Rewards have been pretty good so far. The drops, while not interesting to me yet, had some decent offerings before I joined. I am hoping that some of those items, or one's similar, come around soon.

I purchased a laptop and an individual MicrosSoft office subscription for my wife in October. In December I needed to get a laptop for myself so I purchased one online and the agent I talked to told me that I could purchase the Microsoft family subscription and cancel the individual one and get a refund for the remainder of the year. I chatted with an agent this week who told me the same thing but that I needed to call to do it. That agent also told me I would receive a transcript of our chat via email, which never happened. When I called the agent told me that they could not refund the individual subscription. He did tell me to cancel my family and when I said that would mean I won’t have office on my computer he said yes. I asked to speak with a supervisor and when that person told me no I asked to be escalated again and he said no. I asked again and he said the answer won’t be different and I still said I wanted to speak with a superior. He said no and I asked again and he hung up on me. At no point did I raise my voice or use bad language. I have worked retail so I understand the agents side of things, but this has been the worst experience I have ever had.

Some item discounts have been more than worth the value. The one thing that would improve this membership would be some sort of priority queue as a member for certain item releases and drops so that you can mitigate bots and other scalpers.

We purchased a new refrigerator. Brian Corsino was excellent in helping us with our purchase. When we had issues, he was very responsive in helping us getting the problem solved even when we had to leave town the next day.

Best Buy Plus membership...you need if you need to return anything pass 14 or 30 days. It pays for itself if you forget things like me.

Membership is a benefit, but it is not always easy or smooth to access the assistance needed. There is the need to schedule and WAIT for that appointment, hoping to receive assistance from staff that can communicate effectively with me.

This membership is great value. You get early access to discount and you get free shipping. Best Buy is making a comeback.
