Recommended if you purchase frequently at Best Buy

At first I didn't know if I needed to purchase it but the delivery on online purchases is a lot faster and some of the items are even more affordable. It is recommended if you shop in person or online frequently at Best Buy.

Misleading benefits

Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For me, the entire point of signing up for Plus was the promise of priority and improved odds on high demand releases. Best Buy customer service repeatedly told me that being a paid member would grant me priority in these virtual “lines”. The reality is, it doesn’t do anything. Your odds under a paid membership are no better than free members. It also does not give you improved odds for their “invite only” purchasing windows, either. I’ve entered their virtual queues several hundred times over the last 12 months and have only been successful less than 10 times. On top of that, in the year since I signed up for Plus, Best Buy has made absolutely ZERO improvements to back-end infrastructure that would help to mitigate bots from buying out all the high demand product. While you sit in a fake line, bots just breeze right past it and buy swaths of product. In a time where all of their competitors have at least attempted to make strides to help their human customers secure product, Best Buy has chosen to do nothing. Every single high demand release or drop is botted to high heaven. It’s a joke. Any time I called Customer Service and complained about my experience, they just say they’re sorry and say they will note my issue and pass it along. Then there’s the exclusive offers for Plus members. They’re comically bad. They’re usually ~5-10% off products no one wants in the first place. Or on the rare occasion it is a desirable product, you can find a better price from one of their competitors without the need for a yearly membership. Listen, I know my issue probably seems stupid to some people reading this, but this is the main reason I signed up and paid for this membership and it doesn’t function anything like they promised. Anyone else considering this program for the same reason should know ahead of time. To other people considering Plus: if you just want a longer return window, then sure, sign up for Plus. That’s about all it’s good for. Otherwise, don’t bother.

Back,too large,Adam was very helpful in the process.

With the growing concern of online retail snuffing out physical stores, I feel it is more important now more than ever to shop at retailers like Best Buy but more specifically this store as best buy offers unparalleled sevice along with almost anything you may need in their wide network of stores across the nation. The plus membership allows for extended returns and free shipping which has been an invaluable resource considering the modern online shopping trend and for the price, it is something I would consider a necessity for all those holding on to the traditional shopping experience where customer service meets tech knowledge. Do yourself a favor and subscribe so you too can reap the benefits of the best of Best Buy!

Great Staff

We had a bad experience with a store in California. Until we met one of your staff members in your Medford store. His name is Jordon he explained a lot of things to my wife and I. Because of him we have purchased several TV’s for ourselves and as gifts. And because of him and the staff you have at your Medford store we do not go anywhere else to buy our electronics items we need. Plus we refer everyone to your store. This man is a truly an asset to your store and your corporation.

Happy with my purchase

I was able to use some gift cards and cash back and the sale was going on. Thankfully. What a blessing and a sweet man named Michael helped us with both our pitches. He was so sweet.

Not sure I want it anymore

I needed help with my new Jitterbug phone I just bought that day. I was directed to the customer service geek who pretty much just dismissed this older woman and would not help. I will try another Best Buy if I ever buy from them in the future.
