Staff was very patient with .y numerous times i had called in for help with .y laptop and printer sca ning for hackerproofing. Bought this when I purchased two sets of Sony headphones and received a discount on one of them them. Returned the headphones, as that one was not meeting my needs. Then purchased a different set of headphones that cost nearly 200 bucks more and received ZERO discount! In other words, I purchased the membership and received ZERO DISCOUNT/BENEFIT on the item that I actually purchased. Talked with several staff members and a manager and they just didn’t get that purchasing a $500 item plus paying the cost of membership (let’s say $100) and NOT receiving the discount that was promised to offset the cost of the “membership” is (=) (equals) 0 (zero)

The membership is a good deal and love getting protection on myurchases.

Had my doubts but already in the past 1-2 months I've earned rewards enough to cover the value of the yearly membership. It's also nice to have a 60-day return window on almost all items.

Mystery Rewards have been pretty good so far. The drops, while not interesting to me yet, had some decent offerings before I joined. I am hoping that some of those items, or one's similar, come around soon.

The My Best Buy Plus Membership has proven to be better than any other retailer “club” and decisively so: the best. Specifically, I am not one to return items, and on the rare occasion that I do, the window to return will have closed. This is especially important in electronics, where two weeks can be too short of a period to gauge the quality of your purchase. With that in mind, and considering the cost of electronics, the membership’s accompanying 60 day return policy, limitations few and far between, has given the peace of mind that is so needed in this day and age. And I stress the peace of mind because the return process is seamless, no hassle, and most importantly, friendly. I actually feel like this is a membership rather than some artificial facsimile to further profit margins. Perhaps I am shortsighted, but so far I feel confident about joining and regardless about whether I am indeed myopic, the membership has paid for itself already via purchases that didn’t quite fit my needs but were outside the scope of the non-membership return policy. I am considering upgrading to the next level of membership when the time comes. Great job Best Buy, I am grateful for your endeavors in improving the consumer experience.
