My best buy plus is worth it just for the 60 day return policy alone

It is a very good option to add your plus membership which will help you to do the price match for upto 3 months after your purchase. I did get around 150$ back in 3 months for a laptop.

The Best Buy Plus membership is a great value. First, you receive $100 in certificates to use on future purchases, which is double the cost of the membership. The access to sales for an extended period is cool. But the free shipping is excellent. If you're in the market for anything Best Buy sells, the Best Buy Plus membership is a no-brainer!

Member prices are good on select items. You get protection so that is good as well. Would recommend.

Never had this membership, but this time around we were buying an expensive TV and kind of talked into getting in. Little did we know about 40 days later the tv reduced over 500, and when we notified them, were immediately given a refund for the difference. Luckily the plus membership gave us the extra days and paid for itself plus!

This membership was great while it lasted. I went back to the Best Buy in Sherman Texas trying to buy more stuff, appliances this time. They informed me that if I wantsd to use my tax exempt ID number for that purchase and have it on my account, I would have to forfit the plan and start a business account. This was unfortunate but worth it. Great for individuals not trying to utilize tax credit or purchasing for business use.

Purchasing my tv was a breeze. The salesman had great knowledge of the product and he applied coupons I didn't even know about!

Having a membership saved me $325! I purchased a laptop in October 2025 and because of Black Friday Discounts the laptop was price was reduced and because I have price lock as part of my membership I was able to have $325 returned to my CC.
