Paid for itself when a laptop I purchased went on sale

Ben was terrific, not only in fixing my laptop in 24 hours (and one day earlier than promised), but also in setting me at ease after my machine was hacked. I am deeply appreciative, and impressed with his skill and demeanor.

I have always thought highly of best buy, before best I tried other shops.

I signed up for the membership to take advantage of a sale price on a laptop. That is the only time I used it in a year. I received a $10 reward certificate but in order to use it I needed to contact customer service to process my payment (I am from Canada). After placing my order, the system promptly cancelled it and upon investigation I was told it was because of the shipping address I used. I was refunded the invoice amount but the certificate reward was never reapplied. After a few days of frustration I finally gave up.

Good to have because you see the benefits you get for having the membership

Membership perks make the Best Buy experience more attractive.

The My Best Buy Plus™ membership offers some nice perks, like faster shipping and exclusive discounts, but I find the overall value a bit hit or miss. While I appreciate the extra rewards, I expected more benefits for the cost. The discounts are helpful, but I wish they applied to a wider selection of products. Customer support for members has been good, and the membership is easy to manage, but I’m still deciding if it’s worth renewing. It’s a decent program but could use a few more standout features to make it feel truly worthwhile.
