The membership is worth it even if you only use it once!

Bought this membership primarily for the Geek Squad, who have been awesomely supportive and honest.

I really do not think that we buy enough to gain big rewards from this membership, but it is still fine to have it.

This membership so far has proved to be a real deal. I have had two devices serviced already. One was a cleanup and reset; the other was a new purchase set up. I need to have another device looked at and possibly my recent purchase of a new 2024 iPad Air setup.

I will say it paid for itself which is a good thing. I am not clear on what the actual benefits are but I have only had it a few months so time will tell.

I opted for this membership as part of a smartwatch purchase as the discount available with the membership was double the actual cost of the membership alone. Having the years worth of additional benefits and discounts has already paid for itself after just one purchase. Highly recommend if you find a similar deal.

I like the purchase protection, technical support and overall support for laptop's, TV, Home security, home theator, small appliances, etc.

I was persuaded to buy the plan in order to "rescue" a return that was outside the standard Best Buy return window. But it was not explained to me that the amount I would "save" by reinstating and receiving the return, was a lot less than the cost of the plan.
