Let’s talk about this membership now. I only got it because I was turning trading in a laptop and at this point in time to offering a special or if you had Best Buy membership, you got an extra 10% on your laptop trade-in so at the time the membership was 50 bucks the laptop I was trading it was 800 so I was gonna get an extra $80 which to me is a no-brainer. I get a free membership but I get paid 30 bucks to get the membership and who knows if I use it in the future I may get more money just a good deal, however I got my gift card for 880 bucks didn’t use it right away waited five days and by the time I went to go use it 600 and something dollars if it had already been used and it wouldn’t replace it but they replace it. They wouldn’t give me a new one for the 200 bucks left so that didn’t get stolen so I had to spend it immediately and stuff I didn’t even want it. It’s pretty crappy, especially crappy because I contacted them within hours of the person actually using it and the person hadn’t picked up the product yet. They had been delivered yet. It was an online order so they should’ve been able to stop the order from going out and putting the money back on my car, give me a new card and no one would’ve been out anything, but there was a red tape in the back office this and got lunch investigation I never heard back from 660 bucks my laptop. My MacBook Pro sucks cause I love that computer. I love the $600. I didn’t get it.

There's a couple things to consider when getting this membership. How much do you actually shop at Best Buy? Do you actively check the APP? Do you have the Best Buy Credit Card? While certainly not an extensive list, some of these questions could play a roll in whether or not this membership is worth it. When I initially purchased my membership I did it as a "test" run because there was an deal through the credit card that offset some of the cost with a best buy reward certificate. Since signing up I have saved even more money on various things I would have otherwise bought, which has further offset the other costs of it (lego sets discounts, various in-app offers, etc). What's more, is that best buy (the website or app) also tracks the year-to-date "savings" of the membership itself as well, further letting you know if purchasing it was worth it. Anyhow, whether or not it is worth it to YOU is going to be down to your spending habits of course, but I'd recommend it at least a a trial run.

Not everything that glitters is gold. This is the 3rd time that I am giving best buys a poor rating, on the last two items, that I bought from them, (washer & dryer). The product works well but they came in a color that I didnt wanted and still to this day, no one has inquired about assisting in giving me, the color of items , which I saw, on "their display floor". Their geek squad told the delivery man to connect the items and they will further assist me, in getting the colors which i wanted...but that was just a lie to pacify me. But that is cool, for the next time I need any appliance, I will go to Loews or Home Depot.

i dont like having to decide in a rush, so even though i'm famous for spur of the moment purchases i want to have some time to decide if i want to return an item. the 60 day return window is worth it for me

It is a great membership to get when getting a PC or any electronics. It gives more time on your items if there are any issues and a longer warranty, along with benefits and discounts towards more items in the store or app.

Very pleased with my gift purchase! The recipient loves the quality and visual appeal of her new LG TV. The set up and installation was timely and efficient!

Definitely real value, but the upgrade is most buck for money, since it automatically buys any protection for your product. Protection is definitely not cheap so it’s good they include it for every device in the upgrade plan.
