Good if you use the membership regularly

Most disappointing was the policy that the membership cannot be cancelled for auto-renewal while remaining active. So, I could immediately cancel, but then would not have been able to use any benefits from membership later (within original 1 year from purchase). My choices were therefore: 1. cancel immediately, 2. continue to get an auto-renewed membership whether I utilized the service or not, 3. remember to cancel the membership later before 1 year had passed. I was ultimately able to remember to cancel just fine, but it is still noteworthy how Best Buy operates their memberships.

I love my membership

Terrible service
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Giving two stars based on the terrible experience in the store and charges we weren’t informed of. We went to one location to purchase my son a computer for school or told do we want to add this or this but we’re not told the correct prices come to find out the virus protect protection we added was an extra $150 That we didn’t notice till after the fact. They were out of stock of one item so we drove 30 minutes to another location and waited an hour. When we got home, the monitor was not compatible with the computer even though they were sold as a set so we drove back to the first location to return the monitor and buy a second one. Drove back home 45 minutes And attempted to put it together again just to find out that the computer had multiple pieces that you had to put together yourself, which is very bizarre. I’ve never had this happen before. We attempted to call geek squad, and tech support several times before finally getting a hold of someone who told us to go back to the store and they would put it together for us. So we are now on our fourth trip back to the store in which they tell us the person on the phone didn’t know what they were talking about, but they will go ahead and set everything up for us so that it wasn’t a wasted trip. We get home to find out that the second monitor we have gotten is missing The cord. Five trips and several extra hundreds of dollars that we didn’t intend on getting are now wasted because multiple employees did not know what they were talking about or misinformed us. At the second location, we asked multiple questions and it was clear. The employee had no idea And just said well you can keep walking around and look and see you whenever you’re ready to check out let me know.

Best Buy theater upgrade experience is excellent
