Well, this idea does seem similar to being a Sam's Club member. I am willing to give it a try and see if there's some possible benefit and gain. So far I have seen some savings and info alerts.

Membership is great. It is nice to get special deals and financing on larger purchases and convenient that you get extended return times and price matching with Best Buy my plus.

This initially saved me a couple hundred $$ on my purchase. We use Best Buy regularly and the savings is more than worth the membership fee. I highly recommend this.

Amazing just simply amazing being able to get so much money off of products just by simply being a member and only $50 is worth absolutely everything I say run out and get it now it’s Christmas time

Lets behonest. I was duped into buying this membership. Was told memberships gets first dibs on purchasing new products... (Not true). I was told special prices for membership holders. (Not true) and if it is i pay more at bestbuy than Amazon and newegg. Im going to assume that they were having a competition see who can sign up the most memberships. But deceiving your customers definitely not way to go. Bestbuy needs to focus on making stores better by offering more products like microcenter does. Not memberships. Let's behonest if microcenter came to Idaho bestbuy would close cause they definitely have no idea what they're customers want.

Love the ability to have outstanding customers support and help. Gives me peace of mind .

I bought this on a whim for a specific purchase and it did nothing for me. What they offered was of no use to me and the perks were never anything I was interested in. I suggest not making the mistake I made buying this nonsense. Now I got to remember to cancel this membership before they bill me again for this next year.
