    I am so glad that I got the Best Buy Plus Membership. It is really going to help in the long run when I make purchases, receive Best Buy Certificates for my account. Its a great idea if you always shop at Best Buy!

    This membership was a lifesaver for me. I had purchased a 3rd generation Oura ring on the last day of August, and then the 4th generation Oura ring was unexpectedly released in early October, after I had only been using the wearable health tracker for a month. Because of the My Best Buy Plus membership, I was able to return the 3rd gen ring and then exchange it for the 4th gen ring (they were the same price). I was ecstatic to upgrade to the latest technology without any hassle.

    I have not used this service. Was paying for it for 3 years. I 600.00 on a service I did not use.

    I thought this membership was a good deal after doing a little research on the site after I purchased it by seeing the discounts the membership applied to certain items. I tried ordering a Lego set that was discounted and was going to apply a $25 membership reward to it as well. When I went to check out, it then told me that the Lego set was not available for delivery and wasn’t available for pickup in my area. So why advertise it on the website and then make me go through checkout. This isn’t the first time that I’ve been disappointed in Best Buy. They told me two years ago that they were going to be sending me a $180 gift card for the two separate damaged freezers they delivered to me, the first of which the door was so damaged that they had to take it back and deliver me a different one two months later, which also had slight damage. Thought I’d give Best Buy another chance by purchasing this membership only to realize it will possibly only work some of the time. The employee who sold me the membership was great and very knowledgeable about the products that he had sold me during my membership purchase.

    MBB+ IS WORTH EVERY PENNY

    Who does not like free money? I came in to buy a telescope and found out I could save $70 if I had MBB÷. I think it costs $50 to sign up. So, instead of paying the total price, I signed up for MBB+ and saved another $20. If it had ended there, that would have been great. But since I signed up for MBB+, I have purchased a top-of-the-line surround sound system, a 60" TV, an inexpensive laptop, and other miscellaneous things and have saved well over $1,000. I also had a friend looking for a MacBook. I told her about MBB+, and she signed up and saved over $400 on her laptop and complimentary two years of Mac care or something (I'm not a Mac person), which saved her a few hundred dollars. In my opinion, you can expect at least 10 to 20 times the sign-up cost in savings over a year with smart shopping.

    I bought the membership originally because of the huge discount on my television purchase, the free extended warranty and the extended return period. I paid 50$ and it saved me hundreds and offered me 90 days of FOMO protection. I renewed my membership again because of the exclusive deals and discount prices that go beyond regular store sales. It's similar to having a Prime membership for things I'm most interested in buying. Highly recommend.

    Membership is great value if you are buying an expensive item and are getting immediate money back on it through a deal. The member-only sales leave a little bit to be desired though.

    I recently went to your stores in Augusta, Maine and Portland , Maine in an attempt to purchase a new Subwoofer. I was initially told in Augusta that Best Buy had none fore sale. When I commented that the store website had stated that they did have units for sale the salesperson immediately Stated, after consulting her phone, that yes indeed they did have some available. I then asked her if I would be able to hear them, she said yes. When I arrived at the area in the store where they were located only two of the displays were working. Another salesperson told me that I wouldn't be able to have them demonstrated, but I could still buy one. He was corrected by another worker who said all he needed to do was to alert their IT person to come over to help. That worker came to fix the display, but I was told it would take 15 minutes to reboot. I came back and that display was now working, but I went to another one and it was not. Since I had now spent over an hour of my time, I left without purchasing anything. A few days late I went to the Portland store thinking I would be able to find working displays. They too could not demonstrate all of their models due to displays which were not working. Again I was told I could still buy one of their subwoofers. At both locations, salesmen had to search their phones for simple questions I asked regarding the equipment in the area of the store in which they worked and were supposed to have expertise. I can search the web also for information. What someone needs is the ability to converse with another person with knowledge of the equipment to render opinions and reasons why a purchase of specific units should be considered. I am astonished that in both experiences, salesmen thought that I would make a purchase of an expensive piece of audio equipment without being able to listen to them. I subsequently made my purchase at another retailer. All this being said, I wonder of the advantage of owning a membership at your chain and unfortunately, cannot clearly see one.

    I love the member pricing and most of all the Geek Squad. I have purchased several TVs and I am so glad I had access to the Geek Squad. I may be purchasing another TV in the near future and really glad I have this benefit.
