With the purchase of my daughter’s laptop and the software needed I immediately saved money with the membership, so I’m glad the Best Buy associate made the recommendation to consider purchasing it.

The membership is a great value. I saved the membership price on my first purchase. I recommend the membership if you are going to be purchasing any major electronics.

Mediocre overall. Online scheduling of appointments with a store that is 2 1/2 hrs away or talking to someone in customer service on the phone that English isn’t theirs first language is taxing. Although eventually the phone representative did get me an appointment that hadn’t been accepted online. Nothing indicated I was to get a confirmation that my appointment was scheduled and I would receive written confirmation. Not being able to contact the store directly is not reassuring when needing information germane to the location. The in-store representative, though by himself, did go out of his way to get me in and out as quickly as possible(he was already involved with another customer and my appointment was 10 min past being waited on)as I only needed to drop something off for a known repair reason, not some technical issue. Having what appears to be apparent offshore customer service base is really frustrating especially with communication. Not even sure my membership will be able to be used in this case.

Best Buy Minnetonka has provided excellent service over the decades. By excellent I mean reliable informed considerate service. I’ve used the Geek Squad service both remotely and in store and I’ll look for their help when I need the assistance they provide. I have found the products I sought and learned about the available alternatives when I am in the store.

My membership paid off, as the price on my purchase went down and I was reimbursed for the difference.

Great value for the price. Member benefits and discounts make it worth having, and the extra perks are very convenient.

Pretty good. I spend a lot on new tech and the protection plans are quite costly add ons. However, don’t cancel before the free warranty is over because they will cancel any and all current warranties. Prior to them changing warranty tiers you would get free home installation included in certain purchases (like mounting a tv), not anymore :( I have pulled back from Best Buy a bit, their staff can be kinda dry and impersonal, with a lot less understanding of the products they are selling. I’ve started to go to Microcenter and would be there all the time if they were just a bit closer.

I get the best discounts and deals with this membership especially with the price match I bought a LG TV a while back and it went on sale for 200 bucks less than I paid for it and with one call I was credited the difference on my Best Buy card awesome !!! Any questions I ever have are easily answered and customer service is great

I enjoy the occasional surprise discounts on different products, and I've take advantage of a few Buy 2 Get 1 Free Switch Game promos they've done, which has more than paid for my membership. Longer return window is nice, but I do miss receiving that for free for spending X amount in a calendar year.

Enjoy deals on items and unlimited Geek Squad services. 60 day protection on laptop is good also.
