We LOVE our new refrigerator. It was delivered on time and the guys setting it up did and excellent job. I would have preferred to have our town take the old one away for free but the cost for removal was the same as to just put it outside for us!

Not really sure what the membership did for me - I was hoping to get the same value of the yearly subscription vs earning the status with purchase points. I can honestly say I spent more at Best Buy when I accumulated points thru purchases and trying to get the Plus status than with the yearly subscription. Most membership deals are the same deals you can quickly find online- I'll stick around for a little while longer to see if deals get better but preferred the old point system vs current pay to play subscription

This membership is a great value. Customer service is excellent and gift certificates when you purchase appliances.

Good help on regarding a purchase, I´m still struggling a bit why the membership does not generates points / cash rewards.

I am cancelling this because of the disaster created by staff incompetence and third party servicing. I ordered a Bosch Range (fairly high end). It took two tries for get delivery (and one trip to the store because there are no real representatives to speak to...you are routed to a call center in God knows where. They plunked it down in my living room on the second delivery date and were unable to install and then remove the old unit. The third trip resulted in the "two stooges" returning to tell me that Best Buy "Professional" installers were needed to do the electrical hookup (and I'm willing to bet they were not licensed union electricians). This was the primary reason I visited the store after the second trip to my home...to get this set up which they failed to do. Now a fourth trip will result in the cancelled order and the unit being returned because Best Buy uses Third Party Contractors. I ended up with yet another trip to the store. We'll see if the unit gets picked up and I get credit. I ordered an upgraded unit from a local supplier in St. Louis (Slyman Brothers Appliance) and they are performing admirably.

I I bought a membership at the same time I ordered an open box LG washing machine for my daughter. It was installed on a Thursday, but when it was first used, it sprayed water all over. A Best Buy tech came out on Saturday and said that it was not repairable. After lengthy negotiations by telephone from Europe with several Best Buy representatives about whether a "used" machine of the type I bought could be replaced on warrenty, I agreed to pay an additional $85 to have it replaced. I was not wholly satisfied with this outcome.

Easy sign up all kinds of discounts and benefits. I will be using them to purchase another laptop shortly

For myself, having the membership has value. As I'm always looking for a good deal on items like appliances to the latest tech. Having the options for extended warranties or Geek Squad support only adds value.

I buy a lot from Best Buy, and there happened to be a promotional offer on this. So far it's been worth it since some items are discounted.

This membership is a great deal. Special prices and discounts, and exclusive members buying offers, geek squad support on your merchandise. And the opportunity of buying merchandise with a protection plant and replacing it at any time that the item is defective. Everything is made easy and there is no hiding fees or anything, I would recommend it to everyone it worth every penny.

The membership allowed us to secure our new purchase for extra time to decide about what warranty we wanted.
