I have became a member of the Best Buy Plus program and it’s been already a year, and I wanted to share my positive experience with you. Yes, excellent care by all of your sales personnel in the store. I found Brian, Rafell, and Andy of the Geek Squad to be extremely knowledgeable and were able to solve my cell phone issues. Brian was able to transfer my cell phone information to another cell phone that had an internal screen failure. Verizon was unable to perform that service. Very impressed ! Thank you Geek Squad.

It has paid for itself already by getting Orbi for $140 less after a sale at BB after I purchased

Having myBestBuyPlus membership is an easy decision for anyone shopping at Best Buy or for tech products. The special sales, discounts and exclusive perks easily pay for itself. Have had it for 2 years now and it has saved me a lot on the various devices and purchases I have made.

sales rep helped us make the best decision for our budget. However, I don't think I needed to buy the office package as my old office transferred to my new lap top. Not sure if I will benefit from the membership as I don't buy frequently enough.

I love the the return policy 60 days to return is so worth it

I purchased the membership as I was getting ready to do a renovation in my home and needed new appliances. however, with the refrigerator freezer that are separate units that I purchased was a complete debacle. I waited four months for the refrigerator to come as the first one was damaged the second time of shipment came but the delivery guys from the first delivery wrote in their paperwork that I needed a freezer, that was returned then I had to wait another several months to get a refrigerator. Then the receipt got pushed back. Then pushed back one more time and then finally I received my refrigerator but now the problem was is no one at Best Buy or through geek squad or the company that Best Buy uses knew how to marry the two refrigerator and freezer together so that it did not overheat. It has now been a little over 4 month so I returned the refrigerator freezer and bought it from someone else that had a competent technician who knew how to marry the two correctly. I also purchased an oven microwave combo, a gas cooktop as well as a hood range over the cooktop and paid the extra for installation because they needed to drill into tile for the hood. Again the people that Best Buy uses came and told me that I would have to pay hundred dollars per hole that they drill into my tile and I told them no way I’m not willing to pay that, then they got on the phone with their manager. The manager said OK $50 for every hole and I said no I paid extra for the service knowing that it has to be drilled into the tile they said well then the only way that they’ll do it is if I sign a waiver that if they crack the tile that it’s on me that they’re not responsible for it and I told them no, and the technicians literally grab their stuff and walked out. I ended up paying $100 more for my contractors to put in my oven. Microwave my cooktop as well as my hood.

Honestly thought I was being upsold when I got my laptop at MSRP, but considering if was like $50 I thought why not, I just got my tax refund if it helps this guys numbers then it's all good. However, the following week I was able to get a retroactive price match on my item since I was in the 'return policy' date range, which saved be $426!!! Absolutely crazy, so since then I've been watching the membership exclusive deals and to see if I can get a good bargain. Would reccomend to my friends who also frequent best buy as one of their 'happy places'

I got the membership that was included for a product I purchased. After exploring the Plus plan, I was happy to see it has some good benefits such as 2-day shipping and 60 days return window. It also enables some member only prices and discounts. But these features are not convincing enough for me to renew the plan with my own money.

Not really worth it unless you have the Best Buy credit card to go with it even then unless you pay before intrest hits your better off just saving and paying for item outright i am also a little biased as i was told you would get reward points back on purchases i later found was NOT True unless you have best buy credit card at its 30%+intrest if i didn't have card now personally i wouldn't waste the money Best Buy price matches many other vendors if your a member or not member prices are typically regular prices of other vendors shop around to some it is worth it i am a member because it is much easier and less waiting to return or pick up item from store vs online also best buys shipping times are excellent when compared to Amazon one major perk of membership is free shipping and again they are much faster than other vendors i have delt with it is up to the individual to decide if it is worth it for them and their needs just be aware reward points dont count unless you have best buy credit card you may get a certificate coupon without it i think my first on was 20 dollars after i spent a thousand dollars without card
