    Honestly when they try to sell you this it sounds like a worthless up charge honestly and is kind of expensive but if you game or and heavily use the electronics you buy this plan pays for itself so far it's saved me hundreds just on gaming controllers alone not including my headphones or other items I use daily.

    Took my Gaming Pc to GeekSquad because it was freezing, and I had to join the membership in order for them to work on it. They couldn’t find out what was wrong at first, they tested it and it didn’t freeze. So they gave it back to me I brought it home and it continued to freeze. I recorded it, showed them the video they told me to bring it back, they found out what the problem was, informed me and fixed it and also gave me ideas of things do to make sure it doesn’t freeze. Just bought a new TV as well and my membership helped me save money!!

    Just bought a new computer and monitor from Best Buy. I used the Total membership to have the Geek Squad transfer files from my old computer to my new one. They did a good job and I had my computer back the day after I had them transfer the files. After I got the computer home I had some problems getting into my work email. I called remote support. The tech took control of my computer and resolved my issue in minutes. Well worth the membership, as I am not a computer guru.

    I bought the Geek Squad membership because I have no idea about computers. If they work OK I’m OK, if not, I’m totally lost. If there’s a problem I get it taken care of on the phone, or appointment in person. The pros have always taken care of my problems quickly. Wouldn’t be without this sevice. NEVER EVER!

    I was a Total member for several years and I really enjoyed the service. The warranties offered peace of mind and the discounted services really stacked up for a person that shops frequently at Bestbuy. If you are a tech enthusiast with lots of purchases and you like the value that a brick and mortar store provides, I highly recommend total!

    I'll be 100% honest - I am a technology amateur. Every time I have questions everyone at Best Buy has been very helpful. I've used the Geek Squad who answers my questions and helps me with my devices without making me feel dumb. They helped me set up my new computer and transfer all the data from my old laptop to the new Lenovo. The people on the floor are always very helpful and polite and Management has been knowledgeable and reassuring. I also like the additional product coverage for peace of mind. For someone like myself who needs a source of technology support, product information and reassurance they Best Buy Total Membership has been wonderful.

    I purchased a yearly membership to have my computers protected with what ever comes their way. Owning a business my computers are an intrinsic part of what I do. To have the peace of mind to know that the yearly membership covers what I may need in case my computers malfunction helps me sleep better at night.

    My best buy membership is a great deal it gives you a piece of mind when you buy a high priced tech item and the give you coverage against problems that may come about and there tech support is like no other that i have been apart of and the discounts you get are awesome. Getting free financing on a large item to pay over time is great also. Love having it .

    Membership vs Paying Geek Squad for data transfer

    I purchased the membership as it was a very good deal considering I was about to have the Geek Squad transfer all my data from my old laptop to the new one, plus transfer everything on to an external hard drive. The membership was less than the work I wanted done, plus now I have the Geek Squad for a year!

    It works out great that my old HP PC now works after their cleanup. Also, appreciated the help getting my new DELL computer set up and running. Team is great and helpful. Well worth the annual fee. Only suggestion, you reopen location in Clarence, NY area - location of old best buy on Transit Road, Clarence - is very much missed. Would service Clarence, Lockport, etc.

    I want to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service provided by Sean Medford from the Newport News Best Buy. Although I purchased my computer at the Williamsburg store, I required additional assistance setting it up at home and Sean went above and beyond in every way. He arrived right on time, explained everything with clarity and patience, and demonstrated an impressive level of technical knowledge. What really stood out was his kindness, professionalism, and genuine desire to help. Sean made sure every question was answered and every issue resolved, all while maintaining a friendly and respectful attitude that immediately put me at ease. His partner, who accompanied him, was also excellent—together they made a fantastic team. Best Buy should be extremely proud to have employees like Sean and his partner. Sean's expertise, communication skills, and customer care are exactly what set the company apart. Thanks to him, I feel much more confident using my new computer, and I’ll absolutely turn to Sean at the Newport News location again because of this experience.

    I’ve had a great experience with the Best Buy Total membership. It’s incredibly convenient knowing that my purchases are protected and that I have access to support whenever I need it. The extended warranty and included services give real peace of mind, especially for electronics I use every day.     I love having a Best Buy membership. It’s so convenient I’ve saved so much money I love the fact that I get warenty on all products I buy at Best Buy that’s already such a win.     Best Buy has been my go-to for a few years starting from simply wanting a new phone that wasn't loaded with phone company apps I didn't want and couldn't delete. I prefer my electronic devices shiny and new, usually purchasing from the Cascade Station location because I have such positive experiences. Recently I bought my first gaming PC and as expected the associate spent all the time I needed answering many questions and helping me with comparisons. I love it. Super quiet and faster than anything I have used prior. The BB membership has proved worthwhile and pays for itself with service and discounts. Very happy, highly recommend.

    The customer service has been outstanding. The store associate who helped with the purchase in Pasadena was very helpful and patient. He explained the various features of different computers; he was not high pressure. The GEEK squad has been extremely helpful in setting up the computer and transferring data from my old computer. The Services Experience Manager was available, responsive, and extremely helpful via e-mail to help troubleshoot a number of issues. The membership has already proven to be well worth the investment.

    The best thing I’ve ever bought from Best Buy (and I’ve bought a lot of things) it was simple and easy and the way she explained what it covered made even more sense for the price now I can bring almost anything that has an issues and they’ll help me fix/ diagnose it! And that’s not even including the great deals you get on a lot of the items in store or online!

    I had service done today and the two technicians were unbelievably professional and courteous and was able to get the TV installed. We made a decision to get an additional item that we're going to be picking up in a week or so we are having shipped to the house and they will be coming back to complete. I will definitely use these installation services again nothing but good things to say!
