    We have had this membership for several years and it has always paid for itself every year in terms of Geek Squad services for our several devices. Plus it is always good to know that Geek Squad are only a call away and are always helpful and professional.

    Took in my laptop for a checkup since it was running slow & had some malware. Geek Squad discovered a bad hard drive, replaced it with new one they had in stock. Laptop now loads faster than when it was new and got rid of a lot of bloatware. Thanks U-Guys.

    The inclusion Apple care is one of my favorite parts of this subscription along side the discounts I receive through out the year. I feel much more confident in the safety of my Apple devices without having to pay for a separate care plan for each device.

    If You Love Yo Gadgets, Protect Yo Gadgets

    Look, if you’re the kind of person who treats their electronics better than some people treat their pets, this membership is a no-brainer. Having everything covered under a protection plan brings me more peace of mind than yoga and chamomile tea. It’s way better to have protection and not need it than to have a nervous breakdown over a cracked screen or faulty components with no safety net. You probably already treat them better than your children anyway. At least this way you can give these back and get a new one when they s@$# the bed. Try that with a child and see how that works out for you. Go ahead. I'll wait. And let’s be real for a second: if you proudly call yourself a gadget geek but can’t swing less than $200 a year to protect your precious babies, then my friend.... It might be time to pick up a new hobby, like knitting or competitive couponing. Totaltech isn’t just a membership, it’s a way of life. Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because there is always room to improve. Like giving total tech members higher priority as well as notifications and queue updates to pre order high demand items like the Nintendo Switch 2. Looking at you Best Buy.

    I’m a member in Best Buy and also a member Greek squad I have my gaming lots of fix and the process was pretty quick before the due date so that’s pretty awesome I’ve been going to Best Buy for a while. Don’t remember, but it’s the best place to buy anything that you like. Good discounts. Also good employees they do a great job what they do five stars for me.

    The My Best Buy Total membership is totally worth it. The exclusive member pricing alone helps me save a lot, and the included Geek Squad support has been a lifesaver for quick fixes and tech questions. I also love that my purchases are automatically protected, so I never have to worry about damage or issues down the road. Excellent value and service all around!

    My computer got hacked and I was told by various experts to bring my computer over to Best Buy and they would know exactly how to fix it and they did. They helped me right away and now I have the peace of mind that all of my devices are protected. Thanks Geek Squad!

    Had a virus issue with my Samsung laptop. Geek Squad was very helpful in getting me the support I needed in a timely manner. Everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable and polite. My only complaint is that the GS can't tune-up my Samsung Note10 smartphone that I bought from Best Buy b/c they don't have a contract with Samsung for the parts??

    Excellent value and would absolutely recommend if you’re a frequent tech shopper, may need a lot of GeekSquad assistance, or shop for a lot of Apple products, as the membership offers up to 2 years of AppleCare. Whenever my family upgrades their phones I’m going to put them on my plan.

    I signed up for My Best Buy Plus primarily for the extended return window and exclusive member pricing—and honestly, it’s been a solid value. For $49.99/year, I get free 2-day shipping, 60-day returns on most items, and access to some decent member-only deals. It paid for itself when I bought a laptop and got a price drop refund a few weeks later. The My Best Buy Total tier is pricier at $179.99/year, but it includes 24/7 Geek Squad tech support and up to 2 years of protection on most purchases, including AppleCare+ for Apple products. If you’re buying big-ticket electronics or want peace of mind with repairs, it might be worth the upgrade. That said, the value really depends on how often you shop at Best Buy. If you're only making one or two purchases a year, it might not be worth it. Also, be mindful of the auto-renewal—some users have found it tricky to cancel.

    The membership is good if you buy something that would need protection, as you will receive 24 months protection with your Membership if you stay a member for the entire 24 months. However, some of the better benefits are no longer offered (free delivery, free installation and free haul away), which is not great. Geek Squad benefits are good.

    If you're someone who buys a lot of technology and appliances, don't hesitate and get your membership. You won't regret it because of the insurance it offers on products, and all Apple products include AppleCare, which is why I decided on this one.

    I had let my membership go. But my old computer broke down and to get it looked over I really needed to get this service. It cost less than what I needed to have done would have without the membership. I am happy that I have it and they set my new computer up for free and took all the information they could off my old computer.

    I work from home and consider the My Best Buy Total my personal IT department. I have contacted the Geek Squad Team many times and my concerns have always been addressed professionally and competently. I would not be able to work from home without the Geek Squad!

    Truly like this membership. I’m a person who likes to have warranties on almost everything since accidents do happen and…. Unfortunately products just stop working even when they are brand new. This membership gives you a piece of mind on all your purchased products.

    Not only is this membership a real value but a life saver for my equipment and peace of mind. The Geek Squad are really awesome to work with.     The way it’s done now makes it easy just to buy things in store and know that it’s already covered. Product easy to find in the system and since I only buy my electronics here, once something is needing attention I make an appointment or just swing in and it’s done.

    My sales rep was amazing… I think he’s name was David? Very knowledgeable and helped sign me up for my total care plan , that got me an awesome upgrade to my already awesome tv, which Ari helped me with. I transitioned from a 55” to a 65” easier than I ever thought possible.
