    Easy to setup appointment; and the turnaround time is good also. The problem is dropping off the equipment and picking it up. The wait time is too long. There’s not enough employees to handle the volume of customers with technical issues. The explanation as to the problem and the resolution is fine. And, the call to say the device is ready, is also good.

    My Total Best Buy membership has been completely worth it. I love the peace of mind that comes with extended protection, free delivery and installation, and access to members-only pricing. The convenience of knowing I can get help with tech support or repairs without extra hassle really sets this membership apart.     I came to the store at Walker Lake rd. at about 5 PM Tuesday 11/25/25. I needed and bought a printer and ink cartridge with the help of a young man ,very knowledgeable, has been there about 3 years and is working his way through college. I'm so sorry I forgot his name and the floor supervisor's name also. They both helped me settle a problem that I have had for about a year with my BB Total Yearly Subscription. It started out as double billed last year, one cancelled, and my Web root Secure Anywhere subscription cancelled, After fixing that issue last January, I find I have a BB Total still on record as expired after 6 Months! These 2 employees worked the issue out and I am now still a Total Yearly, Happy Member! JohnP

    I have had Best Buy- Geek Squad membership since year 2017. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the remote Geek Squad IT Techs had fixed my many HP com puter issues. They were my very knowledgeable, pleasant tech experts! On December 16,2025, I had the Geek Squad team dismantled my hacked [2] non-functional HP computer. I purchased a Chromebook that I like very much. I also purchased another annual Geek Squad membership from the South Maryland Pkwy store, Las Vegas, NV.

    We love our membership! It lets us rest easy knowing that we are covered in case something happens to our laptops, iPad or phones. We can either make an appointment to leave it with the Geek Squad to fix or we can ask a quick question in-store. We get fast service and the associates are very friendly and helpful.

    This is probably one of the best memberships available, whether retail or otherwise. Between the exclusive shopping events and early access to items, getting free AppleCare on Apple products and service plans on all others, it has saved me a significant amount of money as well as the piece of mind on my products. 10/10

    I BROGHT MY HP LAPTOP TO GEEK SQUAD AT BEST BUY. IT WOULDN 'T COMPLETE THE START FUNCTION. THEY HAD TO REPLACE THE MAIN DRIVER AND DISC AND OTHER THINGS I DON'T UNDERSTAND. THE PRICE WAS MINIMAL AND GOT A WARRANTY AND A I YEAR MEMBERSHIP INCLUDED. THEY WERE HONEST AND SAID IT WAS AN OLDER UNIT IT WAS WELL WORTH SAVING RATHER THAN BUYING A NEW ONE. IT NOW FUNCTIONS AS IT DID WHEN IT WAS NEW. MANY THANKS TO BUST BUY AND THE PEOPLE AT GEEK SQUAD. MP BEDFORD, TX.

    I came in needing a laptop repaired and was told that this membership would save me money and give me more access to things like unlimited geek squad support including for items I didn’t buy from Best Buy but needed help with and access to exclusive deals from Best Buy. The membership renews annually from the day you got it and I’ve enjoyed having it so far. I only rated it 4 stars because I recently got it and haven’t been able to truly use it a ton yet, but it seems great so far

    Super helpfu to have. Knowing my equipment is warrantied is a load off. So glad Best Buy is still around. To be able to actually walk into a store, or pick up the phone and talk with a specialist that knows about the products is something everyone should be glad to experience!

    Best value on the market of any warranty or service. Started out as a service for my wife’s laptop (she isn’t easy on them). Found out it covered my TV purchase, 2nd laptop and more! AppleCare, no problem, covered! Coverage is cheaper than a single AppleCare coverage, can’t go wrong!!!!

    It's still worth it a little bit to get the warranty on the things I buy but to be honest imagine still a bit salty that they reduced the benefits and raised the price. At some point we as consumers will have to just tell them no thanks, but we aren’t there quite yet.

    I will never go without this support. Had several things that needed attention all at the same time. The possible cost of repairs were much more than the membership. Love their assistance! As an ‘older’ adult I can be intimidated by some tech- the techs have no problem explaining gently where I went wrong

    Love this service provided by Best Buy. I have used them for many different reasons from installing Alexa in my car, setting up ring devices all over my home, many repairs on phones,iPads and computers. Help with routers and picking out the best one for my situation.. everyone I have come in contact with has been knowledgeable and understanding. This is the best service I have ever bought for myself.

    This membership is an awesome deal that will help you lower your cost if you have any technical issues with any of your products, as well as, giving you the opportunity to purchase new equipment at lower prices. I had a issue with my HP laptop, that was caused by an improper update. The Geek Squad resolved the issue quickly.

    I used the membership for online support to fix a problem with my new laptop. The keyboard quit working after a few weeks. They could not find a fix and said it was a hardware problem. I had the computer serviced by the manufacturer who replaced the keyboard. That didn’t correct the problem. I then took it into best buy geek squad and explained the problem. The geek squad person knew exactly what was wrong. It was a software update that had caused the problem and they fixed it in a few minutes. I wish the online support was aware of the update that caused problems. Bottom line is they fixed my problem!

    This membership offers great 24/7 Geek Squad support. Was able to ask questions from the Geek Squad about anything I did not understand. Under this plan, I was able to have a diagnostic done on computer like a checkup. Geek squad tune the laptop up making performance run faster and smoother. Best part? There was a zero charge when they were all done! Not only that? They will check ANY of your products whether purchased at Best Buy or not to let u know what's going on! Is totally worth purchasing every year especially for emergencies and peace of mind!
