I bought a samsung ultra watch and they had me make a appt to show me how to use it all they wanted the sale the day AFTER THAMKGIVING told me to make appointment for next day went in and would not help me told me they dont do that well lol they wanted the sale i have bought everything threw people very disappointed

I was charged $198 for a membership. I didn’t sign up for a membership it was automatically charge to my bill. Why should you have to pay a membership when you never had to pay for one before. I haven’t seen any real benefits. It’s just to make money that you’re not making in these hard times.

Charges you extra fees for service once item is out of warranty. At that point it doesn’t really make sense to pay for service. I never knew this until I needed to use the service. Paid $400+ to fix a dishwasher when I could’ve just purchased a new one at that. They should at least make the diagnosis free for members.

We have experience two SERIOUS breaches of the Best Buy contract. Both incidents were refrusals to perform repair -- once by the Carmel Mountain Geek Squad (corrupted harddrive boot record)-- the other by the Mira Mesa Geek Squad (failure to replace laptop fan). The Carmel Mountain store employee and the store manager were rude and attempted to delve into personal matters that were not their business. The Mira Mesa store just flatly would not honor my TOTAL membership and refused to replace the laptop fan. I took it to another shop that completed the replacement in 30 minutes while I waited. Membership is not a great value when no correct information or support happens

The price of $178 yearly is too expensive to cover only one item. In my case, for a laptop. If you own multiple appliances from Best Buy, I could possibly see the value.

I wasnt aware I was signed up for this service and they unexpectedly tried to charge my acct nearly 200 bucks! Its not something i would ever knowingly purchase. They did "promptly refund me whenever i called with no fuss.

Im not sure if I am supose to get paperwork on this so i am.confused

Will be cancelling, it’s a bit annoying when they don’t give you a heads up of bill being charged to see if you wish to continue

Wouldn't recommend the total tech. Honestly, get the geek squad standard protection plan. Total tech just isn't worth it, too many things Best Buy keeps hidden.

The reason for this low,rating is that i haven't made a purchase yet, but if someone did make a purchase in my,name i would like to know.

I feel the same way about this plan as the protection plan, really don’t know what is covered between the two and how it is even working in my favor?

Its overpriced in my opinion. About the only thing its good for is the extended return window.

I purchased a BISSELL CrossWave Pet Pro All-in-One Multi-Surface Cleaner in Grapevine Purple and Sparkle Silver, but it was defective and stopped working. After three phone calls to Best Buy, a representative corrected an error in my return date, which was affected by my order delay. I submitted a return request on the 17th, and the return window expired on the 23rd, which should have been taken into account. Now, I need to contact the manufacturer about the defective cleaner while still incurring costs from my Best Buy membership.

I purchased this for one year. Didnt use again after the initial use. So when it auto renewed a year later, i cancelled it & requested a refund. I was told by customer service refund was processing twice. Only to be told today, 3 weeks later, i will not be refunded because bb is not showing a charge on their end. However my bank still shows a $197 charge, it was never refunded. Very shady. Bb kept my $197, with no product or service being provided/membership shows as cancelled.

This product is a scam. I wouldn’t purchase this EVER again. I’ll stick to individual plans for the products I purchase, they provide better protection.

Product is not worth to buy as it would cost less to buy insurance for same product
