    Geek Squad staff appears nice, but I have not found they are qualified. It took my three trips to store to have my new laptop synced with old one.

    this is good to have if you have a lot of things that need repaired or replaced with the help of geek squad, otherwise its a waste of money

    I honestly DO NOT recommend this service to anyone. The experience I had it was just a salesperson trying to push and force you to buy a service that won't fit your needs. I only purchased this service because I needed repair for my computer, but only after I had paid already, when I was reading the receipt, I noticed I was fooled. The salesperson allegedly told me it was a bundle and I must also pay for "Internet Protection, AntiVirus", but as I noticed later, that was optional so I was lied to. At the end of the attempt of repairing my computer, I was asked to pay for the parts necessary for the computer, but because I opted for not continuing, since the price for the parts were almost the same I paid for the computer, It wouldn't be worth it. I asked for a diagnostic of the computer, including the parts that were damaged, and nobody was able to tell me what was wrong with the computer. They knew exactly what to charge me to replace the parts and the price for it but when I asked for it so I could buy it myself they simply told me they couldn't find that information on their report. I wasted $200 for a service that was as helpless as my broken computer. Save yourself the trouble.

    Had a young sales representative push this one me recently and he wasn't very knowledgeable about the product. Made this protection seem like it completely covered the product including breaks, damage, etc. I later found out that this is not the case. Only really involves Geek Squad tech support. If you are not very tech savy, then this is perfect for you. But if you know your way around electronics, then this should be a hard pass.

    I like the techs help. They are usually very helpful. Over the phone they take too long and when you go in person they seem to rush you along.

    Really bad Geek service out of the norm. First, the order was allegedly written up wrong. I had them install a second SSD drive to my computer and upgrade the memory to add 32 gbs of memory to the existing 16 gbs (space available for 64 gbs). So they switched out the SSD instead of adding a second. The pick up person told me it was not possible to add a second drive which was obviously wrong. Next, they took out the 16 gbs ram and put in 32, leaving two slots open. It made no sense to make such a mistake, as the memory had a capacity up 64 gbs. The service person was totally a jerk and argued with me even though it was clear the RAM being removed was an obvious mistake and then he tried to tell it was not possible to have two SSD drives despite there being many slots open still. I brought my computer here to make sure it was done right but only by me checking did I find the mistakes before leaving and even then the service person was either just totally incompetent or flat out lied about not being able to put in the second SSD drive. I will be calling the manager to make my complaint in person as the service person was not only clueless, he was rude as well.

    Services limited, usefulness limited, BB will still charge you a lot to do anything save up your money and just pay when needed.

    Total Tech Support - High Cost Low Value

    Disappointed in paying for TTS if you must deal with them by phone. Calls go to India and have not found this service to be as accurate and dependable as promoted. Would highly recommend going back into Store to Geek Squad for in-person help. Would not recommend TTS for its cost and value. Uncertain how much training off-site representatives have and their depth of technical knowledge.
