Don't be fooled by this "service"
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this plan only to pay for work on my iMac, which would not start up. I waited 3-4 days for my Geek Squad appointment, then checked my mac in at the store. I verified that they did have Apple Certified technicians (she said they all were), and that she could see my description of the problem. Shortly after leaving the Geek Squad counter to shop in the store, the tech found me to let me know that they could not work on my mac after all because Apple does not allow them to open up macs! To make matters worse, since I paid for the membership with my BB card, for the points, I had to call Citibank for a refund (they could not process it in the store), which then can take a full billing cycle to be credited. It's been 12 days, and still no credit to my card. I'll probably have to pay for this useless service to keep from paying interest on my card, and then have a credit to use at Best Buy, which I strongly want to boycott for the foreseeable future.

poor service for repair

The tablet which worked erratically was returned to me completely useless. your rep lost the power cord. After speaking to manager ( who could care less)I was given a makeshift power cord. The unit would start to charge then die. I have since discarded same .The unit was purchased from your store 5 years ago for$378. Now I am told you do not have equipment to repair same. Horrible tech support and customer service
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not EVER, Ever buy their geek squad services, They sold me this 200.00 policy because the MacBook i had purchased 2 weeks before, due to my son shattering my 2n1 spectrum 360 touchscreen, was going to cost too much to fix so i was told by hp. The MacBook, that i purchased was corrupt and so they didnt have another one similar, so they offered to fix my HP, screen and transfer all the info to the 4 tb hardrive, and reinstall operating system. After 4 attempts, having store management involved, John Woodard, It was never fixed, they wouldnt refund me the 200.00 in Nov of 2019, because Ashley and Terrance, a Geek Squad asst manager, and an assistant wanna be tough guy wouldnt fix it. So i stopped going to the glades rd store if at all possible because of the horrible service, and the fact that i had to wait a year and a half to be able to purchase a new computer

Overpriced

Wish there was a better option
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.You need this even if you have a warranty or damage protection because they always have to "test if it is a software issue" first. Without this plan that is costly, especially if you have multiple devices. But what they do not tell you is they DO NOT backup programs only "data". I learned this the expensive and hard way.
