    i like all ther services they offer, just dont like when they sold it to me. The tech said that I can bring in any device it will be covered. so i bought the plan. Later when i took my daughters tablet they were saying i had to pay $120.00 then if its fixable it will apply to it. I only got 20% off. wasnt happy

    I only gave 2 stars due to the fact I purchase the warranty for geek squad and place a in house service they never showed and when I called they hung up on me wouldnt say nothing what a waste of money, but instore techs are the best really got my laptop going fast and secure.

    I was told to bring in my Mac that they would evaluate it and if it couldn't be fixed, they could at least take out the hard drive and transfer the data to an external drive. when I dropped the machine off in the store, I was told "we probably will be able to fix it, but just in case buy a thumb drive to put the data on". They actually couldn't even evaluate it because it needed a "special Apple" tool to remove the screen to get to the hard drive. When I dropped it off, I was talked into purchasing a service plan for the year because it was only about a dollar more than the $99 evaluation fee and $99 repair fee at $199 for the year. I paid the $199, but didn't even get ONE EVALUATION, let alone a repair, for that money. I feel I got totally ripped off, that I wasted an hour drive for nothing and now I have to drive back to pick up the computer! What a rip.

    This sounded too good to be true and it was. When I spoke with the Best Buy representative in store around what this packaged included I was very clear on the three items that we were looking for and each item the representative stated was included in the total tech package. After attempting to use this service against each of the three services we had bought the package for, we received a “we don’t offer that”. Today was the last straw when my 72-year old mother went for her in-store 30-minute computer training. She arrived early, brought all of her devices and was promptly dismissed by the Geek Squad staff as “this service is not offered.” I’m outraged at the lies told to me regarding this service offering and the fact such a great company like Best Buy is offering such terrible service.

    STOLE MY PASSWORDS PURCHASED GIFT CARDS

    After a remote session with Geek Squad on Feb 2, 2022, my PASSWORDS WERE STOLEN and gift cards were purchased. This is NOT A REPUTABLE SERVICE. I purchased Total Tech Support thinking Best Buy / Geek Squad were reputable/trusted entities. THEY. ARE. NOT. You are putting yourself, your identity and the personal information of others at HUGE RISK if you let Geek Squad remote-in on your computer. I will never again use them for computer/tech support - either remotely or in-store.. .... For THREE WEEKS now, my world has stopped so I can try to determine all of the personal and professional information that these criminals had access to and could potentially be using to my detriment. BUYER BEWARE!!

    Paid $200 dollars for nothing! I went to the store 2 times to fix the same laptop blue screen issue, They haven't done anything except the system restore. After the restore the blue screen issue still there. They were so certain to tell you that bluescreen can be fixed by system restore, they can fix the issue for you when they were offering the membership service. After you subscribed to it, they start to talk about some repair successful rates, they make you feel you are the unlucky person that in one of the failure cases. Every laptop nowadays has a system restore option why I need to spend the money to do that in the store? For a "professional service provider", Can you do more than that? Very disappointed with the services!

    RECEIVED GAS DRYER DELIVERY ON 3/11/2021, WHICH THE BACK OF IT WAS COMPLETELY DAMAGED. THE DAY THAT I PURCHASED IT FROM BEST BUY IN STORE, I WAS TOLD THAT IT'LL BE DELIVERED BY BEST BUY & NOT A 3RD PARTY DELIVERY COMPANY, WHICH IT TURNED OUT THAT'S WHO DELIVERED IT. I ASKED THE DELIVERY GUY'S NOT TO BRING IT IN IF THE GAS LINE ISN'T LONG ENOUGH, BUT THEY BROUGHT IT IN ANYWAY; THAT'S WHEN I SAW THE BACK OF THE DRYER COMPLETELY DAMAGED. I WENT BACK 2 BEST BUY STORE 2 THE VENTED SYSTEM/GAS LINE/SET UP RETURN PICK UP & REFUND WITH THE MANAGER (SINCE APPLIANCE MANAGER WAS ON VACATION AT THAT TIME.)! THE SOONEST IT COULD BE PICKED UP WAS WEDNESDAY (3/24/2021) BETWEEN 12:00-8:00 PM, BUT IT END UP BEING PICKED UP EARLY ON THAT DAY AROUND 11:05 AM INSTEAD.
