After Problems I Experienced, I do NOT Recommend

I only used the service a few times, but I got good advice 1x and bad advice 3x so I do not recommend it. The problems I experienced were:. 1. Whenever I would called, there was a long wait time. 2. When I got a tech, sometimes they knew what they were doing & solved my problem, but an equal # of times, they did not know much & did not solve my problem. For example, I called last week about migrating my Google calendar from my old Samsung S7 to my new Samsung Note 10. I spent 2 hours chatting with 2nd level tech because the 1st level tech quickly knew she could not fix it. After 2+ hrs of time, the 2nd level tech siad the problem must be the Google servers. I knew that wasn't true, went to the Sprint store, and they helped me solve it in 15".

Had to take my All in One computer 3 times

As a matter of fact, they adjusted it to an older version. After taking it 3 times, I ended up buying another one. They could have told me it was not worth repairing. Paid $100+ for service they did not render!

Didn't repair just diagnosed as irreparable

They refused to look at the hdd recorder and spent 4 days diagnosing the problem with the computers only to report that they were fried and repair was not cost effective.

The "service" is a fraud!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchasing this "service" should come with the disclaimers that purchase implies you agree to untrained/ immature staff abuse starting with : 1) a phone menu tmessage telling you to click on a tab on the web site for services - when you're computer won't turn on!!! 2) being giggled at because of the breaks down 3) be given the run around to an average of 4 agents to whom you will have to give your personal information more than once-- i.e., FOUR times, the last time I tried 4) be made to wait for an indefinite time - my wait time experience had ranged from 30 min. to 9 hrs 9the latter twice in the same 24 hr window!!!) 5) with empty promises you will be callsed by - call never happened! DO NOT BUY THE PLAN IT"S A JOKE IN BAD TASTE!!!

Wrong Diagnosis

Windows would not start unless I rebooted the laptop. I was talked into purchasing a Total Tech Support membership. After the Geek Squad evaluated the laptop, they informed me the issue was the battery. Note, the battery is at 69% capacity and will power the laptop for approximately 8 hours. So, the Geek Squad had my laptop for 5 days, didn't fix the issue, and provided me with the wrong diagnosis. Not satisfied with the service from Best Buy, I looked for and received assistance from Dell's tech support services. The Dell tech representative discovered the issue was not the battery but the BIOS chip. I had to ship my laptop to Dell for service. Next time, I'll simply work with the laptop manufacturer, not Best Buy.

Absolutely worthless

If you request a tuneup or assistance that you contracted...there is a 5+ hour wait time. When you login for help, they end the chats and direct you to "Customer Service"
