    Got a complete runaround - after waiting at least an hour on the phone, the person (not in store) said I could get a certain problem fixed. Made an appointment, brought it in, only to be told they don't fix "that" problem. I have attempted to have more than one thing fixed with my service plan and have NEVER come away with the problems resolved.

    I was upset when calling The Qeek Squad, I told the agent I wanted to have someone "set-up" my surround sound system----they hung up!! The 2nd. time I called, I was told to report all serial numbers of components and then call back & unceremoniously was hung up on! I don't need "this rudeness" in my life--especially when I'm paying for it!!! Will never use Qeek Squad again! Just how competent are these guys to be so rude??!!

    Not useful at all.. more than 1 hour waiting time when calling.. have been trying to call now for 3 times, each time more than 1 hour waiting and after waiting been disconnect without help,. Dropped an question on Microsoft community and had an answer in 10 minutes and problem solved. (THIS SERVICE IS FREE) When you need to go into the store for Geek support you will be billed in addition to your member ship payment.

    This is a scam. There is no way to just cancel the auto-renew without canceling the whole membership. I still had service that I needed to get performed during the last month of my year membership, but the customer service rep told me there is no way to get the membership back because I canceled the auto-renew. Don't waste your money.

    I went online to cancel my Total Tech plan and upon completing steps it indicated to call or chat with an agent to continue. I called and the representative name Jenny could not provide a confirmation. Instead, stated I would receive an email. I received the email and there was no mention the plan was canceled. I better not get a renewal in November.

    I took two different computers for the Geek Squad to work on. The first one I chalked up to a slow computer but the last one totally broke my trust. I took to a local man and he fixed the first one saying nothing was touched on my computer. He volunteered to write a letter for me due to the poor job done on my computer. At that point I canceled my tech support. However I have never received a refund. Poor customer service!

    Another reason to not believe in insurances for devices. Is a waste of money and then politics do not let you claim it.

    Awful multiple experiences over the phone and at Geek Squad Culver City. Was blown off repeatedly and wasn't covered for a drive that went bad in the timeframe but they charged me anyway and after 2 weeks of trying to get help gave up. I would recommend checking around for better fix-it people - even some of the manufacturers now have their own tech people you can call.

    Had a computer go down and they said they could access the info on the hard drive. After I paid the $200 membership (1 yr), they tried and could get anything. They said they could send to the factory, if I wanted to let them try. Only it would cost another $200 without any guarantees.

    We picked up my husbands old and new computer this afternoon. None of his office files nor his pictures were transferred to new computer. The reason I didn’t do it myself was to avoid this problem. Those files and pictures are needed on his new computer. Not sure what was transferred for the $199. I will be bringing it back in tomorrow.

    Absolutely disappointed paid for this and get a zero effort answer when it came to figuring out the issue: “not booting up” Like duh it’s not starting that’s why I brought my computer in and paid the ridiculous price to get it serviced. Please learn how to operate on computers properly or upgrade the staff so paying 200 for garbage support actually makes sense.
