    The associate that assisted was awesome!!!

    I was searching for a lap top that my grandson who will be leaving for college could use. He and I came into the store, but the associate that assisted us did not explain where we could understand. So we left and decided to return later in the day when my daughter could go with us. We had the privilege of a young man, Tanner, who assisted us and answered our questions where we could understand. He made suggestions of what my grandson might need. He is an asset to Best Buy and I wanted to take the time to compliment him. Tanner did an awesome job making the sale and providing great customer service!!!!!

    I am NOT a computer expert, in fact I have messed up, lost information, or just needed my computer cleaned out so it would run faster. The Geeks would take it and get It done within a few days. Usually it was done earlier than scheduled. These people know what they are doing. They take time to explain or show you, what they have done. I love that, I can also, have this support package cover more than one computer, at the time of purchasing the membership. I usually use the service at least two to four times during the coverage period, to fix problems or just to rev up my computer.

    I had a bad week; accidental factory reset on my mobile phone that I was unable to set up again on my own, and new battery in my laptop was not holding a charge. Also found out my hard drive was failing and needed to be replaced! Geek Squad invested many hours helping me identify the problems, get my phone working again, install new battery and much larger capacity hard drive. They also reinstalled many of my applications and got my access to Office365, Outlook and One Drive correctly set up. Their assistance was worth it's weight in gold! I can't say enough about their great team!

    I love having total tech support for the safety and health of my computers. I joined several years ago when my grandson was playing games on one of my computers. When there was a problem, I took it to Best Buy Total Tech Support and they found malware. They cleaned up the computer and installed Webroot security software on all of my computers. They have helped with various issues over the years and I couldn't be more pleased. I was pleasantly surprised when I received additional benefits on the delivery and removal of two recent purchases of a microwave and stove.

    This is Great. It is a lot better than trying to keep up with Certifications that you no longer use for work, (Retired). I just call the number, give them my number, tell then a short history of the problem and walk away. When they have gone through and fixed whatever and searched for other issues and fixed those as well they sign out and send you an email of what they have done. No More Stress. The Plus is that If you purchase Automotive Audio Equipment at Best Buy that equipment is Installed by the Geek Squad for FREE.

    I recently purchased this membership. It has been a godsend to me. I was close to being a victim of online fraud and was able to stay one step ahead of the creeps with the expert knowledge of the staff at the geek squad. They instructed me as to how to protect myself. I had both my laptop and my desktop in for a reset and also was able to change all my personal information. They are an exceptionally knowledgeable geek squad staff at this store: Wetmore and 1st avenue in Tucson, Arizona. thank you geek squad.!

    a good deal if you need an expensive repair

    i just wrote a review and it didn't get saved. so to start again, i bought this because i had a repair that cost the same amount, so it was basically free. and now for a year i can get advice, service, & maintenance of all the tech in my house. the geeks at my nyc noho store are definitely very knowledgeable, and i really enjoy working with them. i used to work in computer departments so i have seen good techs and bad techs and these geeks are good.

    Love it. I have used the Geek Squad for our technical needs for many years and would not consider going without it. The only thing I wish was that when a PC needs to be left that it could have a quicker turn-around time. All of the techs have been very, helpful, knowledgeable, and eager to help me with my concerns. I am constantly recommending the Geek Squad to people and would never consider not having the coverage (of course, unless the price for the service increases dramatically.)

    I really hadn't thought about getting this and decided since I was buying this computer for my photography business maybe I should invest in it, I'm glad I did...a couple of days after I bought it I took it in and had them set it up for me...they installed the anti-virus as well as all the apps I needed for my business (photoshop, lightroom, and microsoft office). I dropped it off and it was ready in less than 24 hours. SUPER HELPFUL!!!!!

    Service at the store is great. On the phone it's different. The first level people aren't too knowledgeable, but you have to deal with them before you can get to a more knowledgeable tech. Once you get to the next level, they are good. I'm reluctant to call, because I don't like having to deal with the first level people. I'm about 6 months into my agreement and haven't decided whether I'll renew it. I wouldn't recommend this to a friend without explaining how difficult the first level is.

    Have had several Great Geek Squad reps help me whenever needed, very efficient and helpful. Just have to make appt first which may not be available but have been able to walk in before and get quick help. I didn't renew as didn't really need but if you have a family who needs help with issues is worth is and you get the virus protection too. Was way too difficult calling though and took three layers and super long so never called but would be a great feature if it worked

    I previously rated this service as one star because my 2 attempts were rejected twice by 2 different agents. At the 3rd attempt, after spending another 20 minutes, I finally connected to another agent whose name was Sebastian. He was very considerate and hooked me to a technician within 30 minutes although Sebastian said that it might have taken another 10~12 hours to get to him/her. I was a bit irritate him because he asked me this question 3 times and he was the 2nd agent who asked me the same question more than 2 times within an hour. And the first agent did not process my order and cut me off. So, my frustration was elevated a bit. I told him to go ahead to process my order, then he finally did it for me. Despite of all these frustration, amazingly I got the technician whose name was Stephen D within 20 minutes. And Stephen was very nice and took care of my problem well. I wanted to give 5 stars for Both Stephen and Sebastian though; at this time I gave this product only 3 stars since I wanted the BESTBUY to know how much I went through difficulty to get an easy turn up service. The BESTBUY must have known that unless I spent tons of my precious time, I could not even get a single service. Before I got to the next stage, I spoke with 3 agents and spent over hour to get elevated my case. This is not efficient nor professional manner. My tenacious effort won this time, but not BESTBUY. Thus, if this manner will not be improved, I am unable to recommend this product to my friends since they are not so patients as much as I am. Thanks any way.

    Thank you Anthony for looking out and getting me the total tech support. This is great and has saved me big. And wanted to thank you on a job well done installing my radio and back up camera. Also a big thank you to Anthony and Rob for installing my speakers. My speakers was just dead, but you guys were able to get the new speakers in and got them working in no time. Now I can finally listen to music in the trailblazer. And it sounds awesome! You guys rock \m/

    It is much needed for a senior citizen like myself that does not have the muscle or brains to install or understand how to use most of today's items. This service is for sure a major reason I purchase items at BEST BUY. Thus far all home services provided have been superior. In store services good but not as good as in home because of the demand of customers bringing in items to be looked at or repaired. This in store analysis of course is only my opinion based on my experiences.

    Best Buy Total Tech Service Plan

    I bought a computer last winter and at the time the Best Buy Associate advised me of the Total Tech Support Service Plan. Since then I have used it have a TV installed on the Wall, a Google Nest WiFi installed and a Ring Camera plus solar charger installed. With my Total Tech Service Plan I was able to have Geek Squad install all items at a reduced price and they also make sure you understand all the features and how to use them. For a Nerd this is a Fantastic Service.

    My entire hard drive gave out. Tech support helped me figure out which new drive to buy and helped me set everything up. They were also available remotely when I needed extra help. Tech support was unable to retrieve anything using the level 1 (I think that's what they called it) methods and I couldn't afford to send it out for higher retrieval (levels 2 and 3 don't come with standard support). As a side note, I thought it was impressive they can use level 3 methods to sometimes retrieve data from hard drives that were destroyed in fires.

    It covers so many items. The support is 24 hours a day for all products. I have used the support numerous times as well as some benefits that applied for other products purchased. Look at it as insurance - if you had a problem with a PC or any product you purchased - where could you get immediate help and resolution. Try getting hold of an outside technician late at night for service or to answer a question - NOT going to happen. Total Tech support is there.

    The Best Buy Total Tech Support is well worth the money spent. The service basically offers complete support for all your home electronics. Being a member also gives you a discount on security software and certain repairs. I will not hesitate to call them when I have computer or printer problems which I did last week. Since making the phone call to Tech Support we are now able to print and scan documents. They are there 24-7 and I strongly recommend having the service.

    Am using the support and protection coverage for a Samsung smart phone and am very grateful that a 15 minute call has saved me almost a 1000$ and I only waited 3 days for the replacement funds to arrive via a gift card and thru email and app. Things are looking up with the new phone order sitting in the cart. Now if only the mobile service setup would actually allow me to checkout and reserve the phone. Nail biting with the excitement. Thanks Best Buy

    This is an outstanding product but for people my age there has to be a better price. I have had this service and I was never told the change in name and I called in to stop payment. Then a few day's later I needed help with something and I was told I canceled it. So after I was told what was what I bought it again. I know I shall get no help on pricing but please think of us older young persons.
