Got this to fix a laptop we purchased a few years ago. It’s really a good service. I hated this windows 10 laptop from the day we got it. It was slow and ads popped up everywhere. If we used it 10 times in 2 years I’d be shocked. I took a shot at this service. We did have it re-looked at a second time but they got it up and going. The service let’s you bring in as many computers as you want...so we did. You get a lot for this price so I think it’s worth it.

Brought my Mom's laptop that we did not buy from BestBuy in. Alex offered to update Second Life, along with all Windows updates once the virus was removed. She even explained, when we picked it up, that it was so far out of date that that was why SL wouldn't let Mom do it herself. Really great place as always and Alex is really smart and kind. Thanks Geek Squad we've been coming here forever and will continue to do so.

Have been helped in the past with a number of my computer issues. However I was told iPhone would be covered and my battery issue is not covered. Third party warranty company does not do repairs - only swaps. iPhone arrived in smart phone box with generic cord and absolutely no paperwork. Not exactly what I expected when I made the purchase. Future Best Buy transactions will include lots of questions before a purchase is finalized.

For the severely technologically challenged, this has been a good value. It paid for itself when I had a Geek Squad Agent come to my home to do the complete set up of my computer, monitor, printer etcetera. Ended up in the black when delivery of my new, and haul off of my old washer and dryer was free. Maybe not worth it for the tech savvy, but well worth it for a challenged Boomer.

I feel so much better knowing that I have this protection plan. I used this plan for my old computer and was very satisfied with the service. The Geek Squad are very friendly and work very hard to help fix the problem. They always explain what they did and/or what the problem was. I highly recommend them! I would love it if they could add services for Android phones!

Had I known about this at the time I purchased my daughters laptop I would’ve bought it a long time ago. This really saved my daughter’s laptop. Once geek squad adder this on to my daughter’s laptop it got rid of 13 infections that literally slowed down her laptop and practically made it useless because My daughter just couldn’t use Her laptop with out it kicking her out of anything she was on.

Have used this tech support service for 4 years and am glad i have it. This is a newer version with more service features. Havent used this new service yet but am confident that it will be even better than the old version which i used and was satisfied with. A real help for those of us that are not technology experts. Gives peace of mind that help is available if needed.

the geek squad that does in-home services is excellent the geek squad online is terrible they make my computer worse than it was when they started. If they don't know how to fix it they should say so, instead, they guess and my computer is more messed up after they're done they guess and always wrong.

BEST BUY Total Tech Support is like having your own family IT Department. I don't know how they do it but I am glad they do. It paid for itself with my first purchase. Take a good look at it and I think you will find it will work for you too. If you have electronics and your family depends on you to keep them up and running, you need this service. GEEK SQUAD is ready and waiting for your call.

I have enjoyed the Tech Support membership for several years. I am sorry that the best tech no longer works for you but am sure you have more or will get techs as good as he was. He explained in my language (76 yr young senior) who is not tech savvy. I have windows ten with windows seven conversions, I do bring my computer in 2-4 times a year for check ups and then get explanation on how to use. Thank you so much.

This membership is worth every penny. We have used it for computer repair (remote log in) that was a “lifesaver” for our computer and recently for installation of our TV and sound system. Daniel and Chris did the install and were so professional and knowledgeable! Polite, friendly, helpful and know their business! I am so glad we got this service.

This membership is full of features. I've already installed two car starters. Haven't used the other features yet but its nice to know they are there if I need them. Plus I gets discounts on certain items just for being a member. My only complaint is I lost over two months of benefits with the store being closed due to the virus and my membership was not extended by the amount of days I couldn't use it.

The tech support package was a deal as it allowed unlimited installs ( within reason ) for one year. The total tech support did not cover install of a flat screen in your home but they only charged $49 which was a bargain. The only thing that I did not like was that during the months that the store was closed for COVID, they did not provide any type of extension of the plan.

What a great staff! Every time i go in to the store they know exactly who i am and have always been treated with such professionalism and respect. I have been to several Best Buy stores and this one (Joe Battle in East El Paso) is THE best one i have been to. 5 stars is most definitely appropriate & then some to for the amazing staff at this store.

I bought this and they told me it covers everything acidentals, breaks , whatever it is and another location they said no they wont i feel so upset with this service i take care of my stuff but to say anything to make a sell makes me mad

I recently purchased a new home. I had to purchase several appliances, tv's and audio visual stuff. Ok, I didn't have to, but I decided to. With all the new tech that comes with these devices, I figured I would get this service. It has already paid for itself. The tech staff showed, explained and demonstrated features we didn't even know we had. I would HIGHLY recommend...

I've already put it to use! Make certain when making purchases online to be logged into your account in order to take advantage of the protection plan discount should you decide to purchase it. This was a good plan to support my household needs as well as my parents household needs. While it seemed a bit pricey, I believe it will pay for itself between the two households.

Free install on my new head unit and back up camera. Going to use it on the installation of a new radar detector as well. Just had a tune up and protection done on one laptop remotely, and will have my other one done too. All included in the $199. I think I might just have them install my existing amp/subwoofer in the car as well since that too is included. Well worth the $$ so far.

I went to Geek Squad to have my laptop fixed as it was slow and freezing up. They recommended I get the Total Protection since I was looking to replace the hard drive since my laptop is close to 10 years old. It was a real bargain to get all that work done especially that anything else can be done for the coverage of the plan for a whole year. That’s like having every problem solved in advance!

This service has saved my work loads of times. I highly recommend it and I will be renewing again this summer. Totally pays of specially because even if your computer doesn't break they can still clean it up for you. They literally make any device run much faster and it comes with the tech support so its free of charge. You won't have to worry about maintenance or hackers.
