As so many have stated before, this is money well spent unless you are a tech geek. I have used this for numerous things, saving on software installs, buying appliances, repairs, etc! Great value.

Was told by sales person and representative at the Best Buy 800 number that all I had to do was bring my old computer in with new and they would transfer everything in 20 minutes. Had to bring it back and leave it for a day and half. Then when I went to pick them up they couldn’t find my old computer’s charging cord. Has to go back again to pick it up. Sales associate kept saying he’d have to check cameras when he had 2 people telling him that I left the cord. To many trips and over 59 spent on phone with 800 trying to straighten out my account.

This membership has easily paid for itself. The exclusive member pricing helps me save on almost every purchase, and the included Geek Squad support is a huge plus for peace of mind. I recently bought a new console and a few accessories, and knowing I have added protection and priority support really makes a difference. Plus, free shipping and faster service don’t hurt either. If you shop at Best Buy often or buy electronics regularly, this is a no-brainer!

Geek squad support is a life saver for issues with virus protection clashes connecting to some files. Geek squad support is patient and a pleasure to work with resolving any and all hurdles faced to date.

If you buy a lot of electronics then im sure its worth it. They removed the Free Install bonus which is the only reason I signed up to be honest. Didnt cancel renewal before it processed so im locked in for another year. Member pricing on some things is pretty good but not too sure its worth the cost of the membership. Free warranties are nice but if you arent hard on things then you will probably never really need it so again, not too sure if its worth the yearly membership. I only signed up because I was buying appliances and with each install, delivery fee, and haul away fee it was cheaper to sign up for the membership but since they have removed the free install and free haul away perks so the value for the money isnt there anymore. I have a reminder to cancel a few days before it renews next year.

Over time the benefits have been reduced a bit, but still a good value. The free warranties alone can cover the cost.

The Geek Squad has helped my family many of times. They have have came to me house and fixed my TV they fixed my Laptop. I highly recommend getting this if you can afford it.

It is all that is advertised. I especially like the Geek squad availability. Any and all help is provided to me.
