It is well worth purchasing this plan, I had to bring in my laptop 3 separate times for geek squad to help me fix. It would have cost me hundreds more anywhere else.

When technical issues arise, Best Buy always comes through with help, products, or answers. And I like the discount on products—that’s a big help. My membership renews every year and for me it’s an investment in our electronics and in my peace of mind.

Unlimited Geek Squad included in the membership is amazing! My old computer stopped working and the Geek Squad was able revive it and move everything onto the new computer. And of course they set up the new one too. The best part was that the team under promised but over delivered by getting the job done in one day instead of three!

I appreciate the unlimited number of Geek Squad visits for things that change on my laptop. It is easy to get into sites that change your profile and new things come online that you don't necessarily have control of. Nice to have help.

It paid for itself when I bought a laptop and got a price drop refund a few weeks later. The My Best Buy Total tier is pricier at $179.99/year, but it includes 24/7 Geek Squad tech support and up to 2 years of protection on most purchases, including AppleCare+ for Apple products. If you’re buying big-ticket electronics or want peace of mind with repairs, it might be worth the upgrade. That said, the value really depends on how often you shop at Best Buy. If you're only making one or two purchases a year, it might not be worth it. Also, be mindful of the auto-renewal—some users have found it tricky to cancel.

I love the fact that I don’t have to remember if I have protection on everything I buy. Plus I can look up an item on my membership and see when I bought it and even schedule maintenance

So far the Best BuyTotal Rewards membership that I’m paying $180/yr for has been worth the money. Some of the return (of defective items) has not been as good as it was. I had to return a home theater receiver back and instead of exchanging it for the exact model, they gave me store credit and I had to repurchase it at a higher price.

I have a large family and they all have phones and gaming systems etc. This membership has come in handy so much due to kids being the ones having these devices they are more prone to damage. I have definitly gotten my money's worth on this.

Had to use this twice in the last year and service was great. Replaced an Android device over the Christmas holiday and it was like two days and the new phone was in my hands and the account info and data were transferred. Fantastic!

Signed up for Best Buy Total Membership recently (few weeks ago). I have already used it twice. Easy to make apptmt for quick turnaround, and both contacts at Greece W Ridge Store in NYS (Riccardo & Remy) have been extremely helpful. They upgraded my Windows 10 to 11, suggested uninstalling a virus protector I was carrying, as it was bogging down my computer, and recommended WebRoot. I was already carrying Carbonite for backups. WebRoot was an easy addition and my computer is working much faster as well. I am very happy with the services to date.

The Best Buy membership has been worth it. The benefits are useful, especially the added support, protection, and savings on services and products. It makes shopping more convenient and gives peace of mind knowing help is available when needed. Overall, it’s a solid membership and a good value.

This membership is amazing. Getting protection on all my purchases is great because other places I would have to pay for protection on top of the item I’m getting.

I have had SO many computer issues this year. Bought a Total Membership, and I am delighted with the service and the quality of help I have received. The whole team at Albuquerque is just wonderful, and the person I have worked with is spectacular. Highly recommend this membership, it has paid for itself for me already, 2 weeks in. Love it.

This service is extremely important to me. It’s knowing that help that I trust is just a call away. Circumstances prevent me from leaving the house often but this coverage helps with that problem. My experience has been very good.
