For the price it’s not a bad option if you shop here a lot. The reason I bought it was for a warranty for my computer. It was more expensive to buy that than the membership.

Great value and it was the same cost to transfer from old laptop to new one, to purchase this 1 year membership...still learning allit does.

I’ve had this membership for 5 months and I must say that the tech support is worth it. Had a few to build a computer for a nephew but was so busy during the holiday season didn’t have enough time to actually build it. So I took it to Best Buy and after 3 days it was put together with minimal issues. So I’m terms of physical support I would definitely recommend. That being said the over the phone support is atrocious. I spoke to over 4 virtual tech support agents who seemed to struggle to speak/understand English which made troubleshooting software issues impossible. The outsourced support agents were not helpful at all with one of them not even understanding that if they minimized an application it goes away. An agent actually yelled at me over the phone for closing out a program for which they didn’t know how to reopen when I had watched them minimize it. Avoid their virtual support at all costs as it is absolutely terrible however I fully support their in store geek squad support as not only did they build an entire computer for me they were able to answer any questions I had as well as give me recommendations on future upgrades. Pros: Geek squad in person support is a 10/10 Best Buy member discounts Membership benefits giving you free trials Cons Virtual tech support In conclusion. I’d say get it if you have a custom built computer as the geek squad support is fantastic. However, if you do not live near a Best Buy do not count on their virtual support.

Geek Squad was great. Transferred data from old Computer , but I was unable to pick it up due to hospitalization. They allowed me to come back once I was home. They explained how to navigate & even synchronized my two emails to it. Patient & knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

I'm not one generally to pay extra for service plans when buying something new. However, this seemed to be worth it when I took in my laptop and phone to be looked at/cleaned. Covers multiple devices.

My HP laptop died and presented as a near-fatal case. It took several days and more that one attempt to fix it but it was successfully resuscitated and is now working just fine. Geek Squad staff kept me up to date on the progress of the repair.

For anyone who makes regular tech purchases or just wants solid backup protection for repairs and services, My Best Buy Total is definitely worth considering. The value it adds to each purchase makes it an easy decision to renew.

The price of the membership is so worth it. My computer was not performing well so I took it to BestBuy and purchased the membership. They took care of my command now I have no more problems. I did not have to pay any additional money for the repairs. Again worth the cost.

This membership is a great value and has come in handy. I love knowing all my purchases are covered and that i have 60 days to return any item.

Service is great. They worked on my computers and fixed any problems very fast . Will be doing this every 6 months.

Total tech provides extended coverage for our purchases. We also enjoy the tech support especially in home support for our tv system.

The biggest negative for this membership in my opinion is that they removed the perk dor free installations, so no more free installations on car electronics, home electronics, or appliances. However depening on how much spend per year at Best Buy the amount of warranties, points banking, discounts, and free shipping pays for itself pretty fast.

Product seems to work well for what I am doing with my computer. Shows me if there is an issue with sites and that is very helpful
