Love this service provided by Best Buy. I have used them for many different reasons from installing Alexa in my car, setting up ring devices all over my home, many repairs on phones,iPads and computers. Help with routers and picking out the best one for my situation.. everyone I have come in contact with has been knowledgeable and understanding. This is the best service I have ever bought for myself.

Best Buy Total Membership is so much more than a protection plan. With expensive items such as cell phones, laptops and computers, TV’s, drones and robotic vacuums knowing you not only get a manufacturer warranty but extended protection and the repair/replacement from Geek Squad is a money saver and piece of mind. Just as beneficial are the member pricing, advanced sale price offerings and discount sale notifications so I don’t miss a good deal. As items age and are still being used I typically take advantage of extending the Geek Squad protection for a few dollars a month once they come off the initial plan. Money well spent.

I love the fact that should I have a problem or question regarding any of my Best Buy purchases, especially my desktop or laptop, I can simply log on to Best Buy Geek Squad (make sure you include Best Buy in your search for Geek Squad, as there are imposters out there), and get any concerns resolved. It's peace of mind insurance for my electronics, and I love having it!

Overall, if you shop at Best Buy often or want solid protection on your devices, the Total Membership is a great value. It pays for itself pretty quickly.

I recently used Geek Squad for computer diagnostics and cleaning, and the service was excellent. The team was professional, friendly, and explained everything clearly before starting the work. They cleaned the dust, checked the cooling system, and made sure the computer was running perfectly. They also reviewed my water cooling system and made helpful recommendations without trying to sell unnecessary parts. The turnaround time was much faster than I expected, and the price was fair for the level of service and expertise. Overall, the Geek Squad made the entire experience easy and stress-free. Recently I purchase a Best Buy membership along with two MSI 15.6” thins and they have preformed far beyond my expectations, though the fans can be loud my temperatures while playing demanding games are beyond satisfactory. This is a perfect laptop for gamers and student alike as I have used it for both. I upgraded the ddr5 from 8gb to 16gb for both laptops and the tech team there was happy to install for me since I was on the go, and this was a free service included in my Best Buy total membership. They provide diagnostic as well as data transfers along with many other services included with my membership purchase. I 100% will be repurchasing when my plan expires. It’s beyond worth the money and my family and I will surely remain customers for life due to the quality of service I received.

My Best Buy Total™ Membership Review I’ve been using the My Best Buy Total membership for a while now, and I think it’s a solid option if you shop at Best Buy often or buy a lot of electronics. What I like: The extended return window is really helpful. You get 60 days to return most items, which gives you time to really test things out. The 24/7 tech support is convenient. I’ve used it a couple of times for setup questions and minor issues, and the help was quick and easy. You get two years of protection on most purchases, which includes accidental damage. That’s saved me money already on a broken pair of headphones. Free shipping is fast and reliable, which is nice if you don’t live near a store. What could be better: It’s not cheap. At around $180 a year, you really need to use the benefits to make it worth it. The exclusive deals are okay, but not amazing. Sometimes you’ll find better discounts elsewhere. If you don’t buy electronics regularly, the membership probably isn’t worth it. Overall: If you’re someone who buys tech often and wants extra protection and support, this membership makes sense. But if you’re only shopping once or twice a year, you might be better off sticking with the free My Best Buy tier.

I came to the store at Walker Lake rd. at about 5 PM Tuesday 11/25/25. I needed and bought a printer and ink cartridge with the help of a young man ,very knowledgeable, has been there about 3 years and is working his way through college. I'm so sorry I forgot his name and the floor supervisor's name also. They both helped me settle a problem that I have had for about a year with my BB Total Yearly Subscription. It started out as double billed last year, one cancelled, and my Web root Secure Anywhere subscription cancelled, After fixing that issue last January, I find I have a BB Total still on record as expired after 6 Months! These 2 employees worked the issue out and I am now still a Total Yearly, Happy Member! JohnP

I was on the fence about the cost but membership has already paid for itself. The discounts are great, the built-in protection and coverage on basically everything I buy is great. It saves me from worrying about extra warranties every time I’m at the register. If you shop at Best Buy even a few times a year, it’s definitely worth it.

The membership is a good value for me. Invariably, I run into issues with my computers or have questions about how best to do something. The tech support is competent, professional and always available. I had canceled it briefly and soon realized it was a mistake. It is nice to have support that I can rely on whenever I need it.

It doesn't matter what BEST BUY geek squad--in any city-- they are ALL consistently outstanding. In the world of the service industry, precious few offers the value & service that BEST BUY GEEK Squad does. The tech package covers so much and is available to all my family member's at no extra cost. If you want peace of mind with all your electronic needs--THE TECH package is worth the investment and can pay for itself after your first visit.

This team is the best I have ever encountered. I’ve been a Totaltech member for three years and Geek Squad for 5-years before that. I call them primarily to help me out with technical issue with either my laptop or my printer or my phone. They are polite, easy to talk with, and they in turn are easily understood making sure that you’re completely satisfied before ending the connection. We enjoyed a bonus this year when we bought a major appliance and found that because we we’re Totaltech members we enjoyed an additional discount as well as free delivery and set up & an additional year on the warranty.

I’ve been a total tech member for over 6 years. I can truly state that it’s the best purchase I’ve ever made at Best Buy. I have used the service for my home appliances and entertainment systems at my home. We recently started buying our apple phones and computers through Best Buy because of the benefits and sales. I used the membership for online support to fix a problem with my new laptop. The keyboard quit working after a few weeks. They could not find a fix and said it was a hardware problem. I had the computer serviced by the manufacturer who replaced the keyboard. That didn’t correct the problem. I then took it into best buy geek squad and explained the problem. The geek squad person knew exactly what was wrong. It was a software update that had caused the problem and they fixed it in a few minutes. I wish the online support was aware of the update that caused problems. Bottom line is they fixed my problem!

Had purchased a new phone from Best Buy and thought I needed Verizon to transfer, but they couldn't due to my plan, so went back to Best Buy to do it. Purchased the Annual membership as the transfer would have cost almost that much. Was glad I did when I needed to go back with questions. Also applies to my laptop!

Peace of mind on the purchase of my HP laptop is a big reason I love the protection.
