Funny movie

Not my cup of tea
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having loved teen movies from the 90's and 00's, I thought this would be good like Breakfast Club was, but I was wrong.

Classic 80’s Comedy!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this movie and John Cusack’s One Crazy Summer from the 1980’s! They were highlights for ne as a teenager at the time. The comedy at times goes the way of a Naked Gun movie. Both movies have Savage Steve Holland as the director and to me he should remembered as John Hughes is for 80’s teen comedies!

80's classic
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of my favorite 80's movies....and John Cusack was one of those actors who made these movies so good. (Some of his other great 80's movies are One Crazy Summer, The Sure Thing, Sixteen Candles(small role),and Say Anything). I quote this movie all the time....."Gee I'm sorry your mom blew up Ricky"......"Two Dollars"........."that's a real shame when folks be throwin' away a perfectly good white boy like that" Just classic stuff. I own this on DVD but will now add the BluRay to my collection and hopefully there are more extras on it.

80 Classic Comedy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sleeper comedy, its one of those movies that if you saw it in the 80s, you want to watch it now that your an adult. Find someone that has seen it and you immediately say lines like "I want my 2 dollars" or laugh about the French dinner... If I had not gotten it, and showed it to my kids, odds are they would not have seen it, as it has not gotten popular as some of the other 80s movies have, which is a shame... I grabbed it during the DVD upgrade program, so got this extremely cheap, that made this purchase easy!

Classic 80's Comedy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's 1985, and Savage Steve Holland takes a delightful look at teen dating, teen breakups and the effect both have on young adults. His study is a very young John Cusack and his obsessive crush on the ultimate blonde idiot, Beth, who only finds him attractive until she falls for the school ski director, and resident bully. Beth, who is played very well by Amanda Wyss, shallow as she is, decides to break up with John's character Lane, as calmly as she picks her hair spray. Thus begins Lane's decent into hilarious attempts at suicide and trying to win her back. Holland's directional and writing debut is a little rough, but very real and keeps you watching to the very end. The end, where Lane discovers that there is life after Beth.

Saw this as a kid and still watch in today
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is really funny and takes you into a competitive nature for skiing life. Some of it is over the top comedy but that is why it's so good
