Worth It

Some reviews say it’s not good for kids; however, we found the opposite. Our 10 year old and 8 year old handle it like champs. It’s no worse than a bee sting. By the time it starts to hurt it’s gone and the itch COMPLETELY goes away. Highly recommend this tool.

Portable Itch Killer

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to microwave a wet paper towel on high for 15 seconds and immediately put it on a bug bite to stop the itch. This Bite Healer works when I'm not around a microwave. It is hotter and affects a much smaller area than my microwave technique, but it works just as well. I like that you can choose to heat the bite for either 3 seconds (1 push of the circular button) or 6 seconds (2 quick button pushes). The circlular button will half light up or all light up depending on your push button choice. It's also lightweight so I just popped it into my purse for the summer. I bought 3 of these and all of the included batteries were dead (2 AAA x 3) hence only 4 stars.

Hurts but works!

It works!

Really works!

Deserves a home in first aid kit

Was ready to return it until I went back and reread reviews. On person mentioned to toggle on off switch, then after blue light comes on, press the top button twice. Finally got a beep, felt the heat, and got the relief needed. Since the red itchiness did not appear for over 24 hours, was concerned it may not help. However, with repeated applications, I can say this Beurer Insect Bite Healer deserves a home in our first aid kit.

Perfect for camping.

Can be helpful when used quickly

I do think it helped when I was able to treat the site quickly. Not so much when even 10 minutes had elapsed. Several of the bites I tried to use it on were in awkward locations for me to successfully situate the device properly. I do think the speed of treatment is primary to its success. And it helps to have another person doing the application.

Awesome Device

I am always being eaten up by mosquitos and have to spray my legs after watering my garden or spending any time outdoors. With this device, I can come inside apply this to any bites I got and be on my way without having to spray any chemicals on my skin.

(as soon as you get that bump from a mosquito bite so you know for sure you are covering the actual bite spot) Does it hurt- yes Does it work on mosquito bites- YES! Does it hurt more after the first few uses- yes. (I think it’s physiological because your brain knows there was some pain last time and thus magnifies future uses) Is it worth using even if it hurts more- ABSOLUTELY YES!!! Am I glad I gambled and picked up 2 of these on sale- yes and now I know how well they work I would gladly buy it even at full price!

No more burning sensation after my yard tour!
