It speeds up the healing time. I’d say it cuts it in half. I’m someone for whom the mosquito bite does not show up until a day or two later. So while I don’t have symptoms to address a bite immediately, this was device still manages to reduce the time it takes to go away, in addition to cutting down on itching.

Simple to use and works! I’m not sure what I did before having this product. Game changer for sure!

Great little gadget that actually works. Even bought a second onecause I can't keep track of just one with the wife. Works great for the MN state bird bites, even on the next day discovery.

I'll say I'm a full grown man and can barely handle this thing on a single button push. It's been used 3 times so far. 2 by me and 1 by a friend. Wasp sting on my leg was killing me and then we zapped it with this little guy. Pain and itch were gone. Just did a mosquito bite and it stopped itching instantly. Friend said the same for a mosquito bite

It help to ease the itch and pain. It take couple time to get use to the heat. A++++

I was skeptical at first but this thing really works. It takes a little bit after burning the mosquito sting for the itching to go away fully and it only stays gone for 24 hours but it is SO much better than any other method I’ve ever tried and I don’t mind using it every 24h until the sting is completely gone.

I was skeptical about whether this would work or not. I'm happy to report I liked it so well I bought a second one. It works best if you get to the bite right away. It still helps even if you can't. I've used it on the same bite a few times a day and found that to be very helpful controlling the "itch". You do feel the "hot" sensation when you use it but that is way better than the itch.

Really takes the itch away. Little pain from the heat but doesn't blister or burn.

It seems like it should be too good to be true, but it absolutely works! Immediate relief. We live in Florida and the mosquitoes can be horrific. We spend a lot of time outside, and endure a ton of mosquito bites. This device offers immediate relief. Wish we would have known about this as soon as it came out. Absolutely amazing!

Note that as other reviewers mention, this thing does hurt. But 3-6 seconds of localized pain vs. days of severe itching? I'll take it! With all the rain in California this year, I was ready for a beautiful spring day - but apparently so were the mosquitos, which swarmed me immediately as soon as I stepped out onto my lawn. As soon as I got indoors I saw two good welts/bites that were already starting to itch. I had recently gotten this bite healer so tried it out. 3 seconds on the smaller bite & 3 seconds on a couple of spots of the other, larger one, and no more itching. Soon, all evidence of the bites were gone. Yay! The next morning I found I had another mosquito bite that I apparently had gotten the previous night when I briefly stepped outside. Since this wasn't fresh, the bite didn't go away completely after using the bite healer for the 3 second burst, but the itching stopped for hours before starting again. I repeated this for a day or two when it started itching, then tried a 6-second burst. It never itched again, though I can't say if that's because of the 6-second vs. 3-second burst or because enough time had gone by. Still great either way!

I purchased it as a Christmas gift but my wife got bitten by something the day it arrived in November. I gave it to her “early, so she used it and had immediate relief. My son got bit by something while at a friends house a few days later and it worked for him too.

This little guy came in handy when we got chewed up by mosquitoes. You place the pad on the bite, hit the button, and it will get quite hot for a matter of seconds then shut off. The nerves are stunned, and stop reacting to the bite. No more itching. The batteries that came with it were dead, almost sent it back.

This little gadget does work. I tried it the other day on a mosquito bite right after it got me and haven’t had any problems with it since. As one reviewer said you can use it on one that you don’t get to right away and it does take the itch but you need to repeat it for a couple of days. This is a surprising gadget.

What an awesome little gadget! This made my summer a little more tolerable since the bugs were so bad. I kept it close by when I was in the outdoors. As soon as I felt a bug bite, I applied it and pressed the button which delivered a few seconds of high heat. It seems to work well but I wouldn’t recommend it for small children and it does get very hot!

I never knew any such device existed and was happy to discover this insect bite healer this past summer. I had some very irritating bites throughout the season and this Beurer insect bit healer device really does provide relief! Depending on the bite, I sometimes had to use it twice on the same bite to relieve the itching.

I read the directions and thought I'd remember how to use it. I did not but it was still easy to figure out. This REALLY takes away the itch and the mark from the mosquito bite. My son took it to Costa Rica and it was a wonder. We took it to Mexico and it worked beautifully! Will be buying another when it goes on sale again.

Took a chance on this assuming it was a gimmick and i am reviewing this completely surprised at how well it works! Use this on all bites and i forget i even got bit.
