I am the one family member the bugs gravitate to the most. I seem to get bitten within seconds of stepping outside. Bug spray really hasn’t helped much and I don’t care for the chemicals anyway. But this little device really helps calm the itch! I didn’t read the description very well before I first used it so I’m glad I used the “sensitive” setting. I wasn’t prepared for the string of the hot plate. My initial reaction was that it was worse than the itch but I was wrong! That little sting really does stop that horrible itching in its tracks! I am very happy with this purchase.

I've had individual mosquito bites that I would have paid $20 to get rid of, each. On me, bites could last for days. But now, at first itch, I use this gadget and the itch is gone, for good. I spend a lot of time outside, and get mosquito bites pretty much every day, but I'm never itching at night anymore. It hurts a little. That's a long six seconds on the skin, but it has never left a blister or even a mark. (There's a three second option, but I've never had to use it.) You won't regret buying this. It just works.

This is nice and small so it stores easily in a purse. I tried it for the 1st time last night and it worked! My bite no longer itched at all.

Just came back from vacation, I love this product. I did get bit quite a few times and this is excellent for traveling purposes. Small compact and helps mosquito bites heal pretty quick, reducing itching and swelling. I did see some comments about the burning sensation, I tried it with my son (10 y/o) he was able to handle it, it does sting a bit but is very minimal.

I bought this product while traveling to India. My son is a mosquito magnet and I got to see how effective would it be against the bites in India. Its been only a couple of days that I started using it. Once setup and start applying at the bit location, it's hot. My son complained about it being hot if I put it at one spot but once you circle around it, he was good. So far so good. We have couple more weeks to go and hopefully it soothes the itching which is primarily the reason why I got it in the first place.

While I have had the unit for a couple of months, the opportunity to use it only came up about a week ago. After about 15 minutes after being bit by a mosquito, I noticed the typical red bump and itching sensation. I pulled out the unit, turned it on and did the 6 second treatment, by placing the face of the unit on the mosquito bite and pressing the button twice. I felt a hot sensation for the sis seconds and once the treatment was complete, the itching was gone. Previous reviews stated that small children may find the heat more traumatic than the mosquito bite. I would try it on yourself and assess if you want to use it on yourchild.

Not going to lie, I definitely thought this was going to be some "as seen on TV" gimmicky product that wasn't really going to do anything- BUT I was wrong. Read the reviews, trust the reviews, this thing works. Note for you: this thing kinda hurts, it's job is to get hot! That being said if you can withstand the small amount of pain it's worth every penny (especially when you get it on sale!). I've been so impressed with it I bought a second one to have in my car. This thing is especially useful against fire ant bites.. I used it and it prevented the white head that usually forms an hour later. 10/10 highly recommend

I tend to my lawn and garden every weekend and it's no surprise that I get insert bites! I'm sensitive to these bites and their stings last several hours before they disappear. Very uncomfortable! Based on the reviews of this product and it was Deal of the Day, I bought it to give it a try. And wow! I'm so glad I did. After watering my persimmon trees, I got insect bites right away, 2 on my thigh and 1 on my arm. Tried this product and bam, the itchiness was gone instantly! The swelling was still there but what's important is that they were no longer itchy! Rarely write reviews but compelled to do so for this product!

Works better than expected. Even effective on bites that are a day or two old, albeit they may require a second or third application. My device came with 2xAAA batteries. The battery compartment door can is easily opened with additional tools. Appreciate the compact size.

Little powerful tool that gives relief in itchiness and prevent from scratching. Gets a bit too hot to use on children.

It really works! After getting bit by a mosquito, I apply this heat for a full cycle and never feel an itch or anything else from the bite again. Can’t believe it works and love the small design. A friend purchased a larger model, but I didn’t find it as effective as this one. This one has a ceramic plate which is easy to place on the bite and emits the right amount of heat to treat the bite. I highly recommend this item.

I am surprised to say that this really works. I bought it a few months ago and have 3 instances so far that it was used. The first time was with "chigger" bites. I had more than 24 bites that were driving me crazy. I remembered that I had this device, and tried it. I use it in the 3 second mode. It is as much as I can handle. It gets really hot! I can do anything until the count of 3, so it isn't so bad - plus, there really is relief when the 3 seconds are up. However, I had to use it a couple of times a day on each bite. The problem is that with chigger bites they only show up a few days later. This device works best the sooner after the bite you can use it. It wasn't my first time getting chigger bites, and they hurt for a few days - but after using this device they hurt for fewer days than my previous experience. I didn't write a review immediately, because I wanted to try it immediately after a bite. It took another month, and I got bitten by a tiny spider (I think). I used the device within the hour that I got bitten - and I felt no pain at all later that day or the following days. The third time it was used was by a friend who got bitten by mosquitoes. She felt no pain or itching the next day. It is small, and could easily be carried when out in nature. I am glad that I took a chance with it.

Was a little skeptical; however, the wife is a mosquito magnet so I thought I'd give it a shot as she hates spraying deet on when we go out for walks and the little deet free ankle bracelets are only partially good. WOW! Works fantastically for her. When we get home we check out her lower legs and use the Healer on any bites she may have gotten. She said it works wonderfully and the itch never shows up. Glad I took the risk!

Bought this a few months ago on a Deal of the Day, but finally just got a mosquito bite, and was thrilled to find that this works! I used it right after I noticed the bite and it didn't develop into an itchy, red bump. I still felt a very faint itch a day or two later, but nothing bad, plus I just used this again where the bite was and it helped stop the itch. It gets very hot, but not intolerable, just something you need to get used to.

I first tried the ‘hot spoon’ method to the insect bite and it didn’t really do anything. I later tried using this device for a new bug bite and it really works! But it only works if I didn’t start scratching the bug bite which spreads the venom. On a cautious note, just don’t keep it on your skin if you feel that it is getting too hot. I remove it from my skin when it starts feeling uncomfortable and have had no issues.

The reviews sold me on this. When i first saw it I thought that if there was a device that could instantly eliminate bug bites and stings it would be sold all over. It was cheap and had good reviews so I figured it was worth a shot. When i finally got a mosquito bite, i used the device. Yes, it burns, but only for a few seconds and the bite is gone! Completely. Not a scratch needed again. Unbelievable!! This should be in every household. I dont understand why this isnt more well known. This company developer needs to market this better.

This works really well, and it's very easy to use. Just make sure whoever is getting it done to is prepared for the quick burst of heat. It made both my kids jump, but it relieved them instantly from the itching they had from their bug bites. I didn't know we'd need something like this, but it's nice to have something that give immediate relief instead of itch or healing creams that take time.

It uses heat to destroy the mosquito saliva. Not hot enough to burn, but can be anywhere from uncomfortable to somewhat painful depending on where the bites are. I wouldn't recommend it for kids. It won't immediately stop the itching. About 90% of the time, the bites won't itch anymore after the initial bite. Normally mosquito bites itch for 3-4 days.

This does seem to work. I picked this up towards the end of summer and living in St. Louis, we have our fair share o mosquitoes. I am prone to mosquito bites and the sooner you use this on the bite, the better. It seems to provide relief for about a half a day and I found best results by "re-zapping" the bit 2-3 times per day. Works a lot better than itch sticks you pick up at the drug store. Yes, there is a bit of a burning sensation at first, but you get used to it.
