Eddie Murphy has never been funnier. The extras are a little light for such a great movie, but seeing it on blu-ray is nice.

Without a doubt this film sums up the 1980's; a feel-good movie with a great soundtrack and jaw-dropping stunts. And of course, Eddie Murphy's hilariously funny one-liners serve as a comic contrast to the violence and profanity. Why can't they make movies like this anymore?

Good old movie but still a good old school movie can’t go wrong

Trading Places made Eddie Murphy a star, Beverly Hills Cop made him a super star. For a thirty year old movie Beverly Hills Cop looks pretty good on Blu-ray. Audio is acceptable but not great though that's what you'd expect from a film that debuted in '84.
