Great DVD - we are trying to watch all the seasons

This is THE BEST TV series ever! I do not normally watch much TV and I especially tend to hate sitcoms. Big Bang Theory however, is the exception. I LOVE this show. I have the first season on DVD as well and have watched each episode at least 10 times. Season 2 was jut as great if not even better! I have a hard time deciding who my favorite character is. They all are a very important part and really bring their own creativity and humor to the story, but Sheldon is just off the wall. Check out at least one episode and you will be hooked. It is NOT a typical sitcom. Forget "Friends" and other unrealistic rubbish. This show is hilarious.

This is the best show on TV, all of the characters are well written and well acted. Jim Parsons deserves an Emmy for his role as Sheldon. His acting truly makes the show remarkable. The relationship between Penny and Leonard is so great and you find yourself constantly rooting for the nerd in us all. Howard and Rajesh are the faithful companions that provide that extra dimension and comic wit to the show. I have yet to find someone who has watched this show and not had a smile on their face. The DVD extras need some help. There are a few more in this season's release, but not much. For a show about nerds that appeals to the nerd in us all, we need more extras.

My wife and I enjoy watching this show together. It makes us laugh so hard. The characters are awesome. You'll make a connection with them and soon you'll be quoting them left and right! Very original. Does a great job of filling the void of nerdy, smart, tech-loving, comic-book-reading characters that hadn't been successfully filled in television in a long time. If you know anything about any of the things I listed above you'll love and appreciate this show. It will bring out the inner-nerd in everyone.

Our family has been compiling the Blu-Ray seasons of BIG BANG THEORY and S1 was fun but this season really raises the bar. The core cast is expanded and the additions work perfectly. The show is now in its seventh season and it has not become burnt out or short on plot lines. The real selling point for this set was the combo pack containing both the Blu-Ray editions AND the DVD versions, in case we're going somewhere that doesn't have Blu-Ray capability.

Wonderful gags abound. When I need a good pick-me-up, I can always rely on Big Bang to make me laugh, even though some references are incorrect. Granted I know licensing issues, but still with the success of the show, who wouldn't want to get a nod to their creations. With the inclusion of the UV copy, the low price to own all 3 (Bl-ray, DVD, UV) is an excellent value and I would highly recommend.

I started watching this series with my husband earlier this year, and ran out to buy the first season. We have both been waiting like kids at Christmas for the second season to come out to DVD and the third season to start. This is one of the best written series I've seen in a very long time. The characters are believable and lovable. And come on, we ALL know someone who's Sheldon or Sheldon-like.

A great TV series that my whole family loves. Jim Parsons does an amazing job as his character "Sheldon." But the whole cast is great, which is what makes the series so much fun to watch. I have a lot of family and friends of all ages who love this show, make sure to watch some of the earlier seasons first, as I think they are the best ones.

No, not from being sick. I laughed so hard I was hurting. The producers did a great job in putting together a cast that works so well together. I have all four seasons and watch them multiple times. I can't wait for more to come out on DVD. I just hope cable does not wear out the greatness of this TV series by playing them too much.

The Big Bang Theory is a great show, certainly one of the best traditional sitcoms on television currently. The first three seasons have by far been the best of the series. The fourth season saw a downward spiral, and the fifth season was complete garbage. Things have recently picked up for the show, with the second half of the sixth season improving greatly. Hopefully the trend continues. The second season, presented here on blu-ray, is probably the best the series has ever, or will ever, be. The audio quality is good, but not great. The video quality great, but not amazing. This is certainly the best the series has ever looked or sounded though. The supplements, however, are severely lacking.

The second season surpasses the first because of the character development that our five friends go through this season. As time changes, so do crew of BBT. Ot's remarkable how the writing of the show has made subtle hints of change in every character, and by the end of the season we see Lenard, Sheldon, Raj, and Wol all make changes in their personalities caused by their interactions between each other, and the hot blonde bombshell next door Penny. This season is a must own, and to get the full fun experience, try watching it from beginning to end in a BBT marathon.

The best comedy shows are only as good as the writers and I think 'Big Bang Theory' must have the cream of the crop. Hope they stay on top of their game for many seasons to come! Quick wit and chemistry of the characters make it a winner!

Another great season!! we have quickly become addicted to this show! we just started watching it this season so we had to get the past seasons to get caught up!! We will definately have to get them all so we can watch them whenever we want!

If you love watching the show, you'll love watching them repeated. If you're new to the show, you'll definitely enjoy the episodes as well as you get caught up (once you're caught up from the beginning - highly recommend watching the show from episode 1 to fully understand the continuing jokes).

The Bath Gift Hypothesis episode is worth the price alone. I highly recommend it. Sheldon is great! The characters are all written so well and cast perfectly. With each episode I love the show more and more. Honestly I don't know what I will do if this show ever ends. Great job Chuck Lorre. THANK YOU!

Ever since Big Bang Theory first premiered on CBS back in 2007, I was instantly hooked. I especially liked the Ring episode, but the other episodes are just as great. I wish they would consider making a movie with all the characters, it would be a huge blockbuster!

Just love this show! We all have known those 'geeks' at school or at work. I think part os its charm is it's very relatable. We've had those moments with our friends or collegues where we wonder are we really all the same....

The Big Bang Theory is a fantastic show, very funny. The Second season is just as good as the first season and just keeps getting better and better. The cast works perfectly together, very good chemistry.
